I was worried that a USB-connected DVD player wouldn't work as well as an internal one, but this has worked great for ripping DVDs and CDs. No setup was required, just plug it in.

Works as directed. Able to play dvds and cds. Now that the computers dont have cd/dvd rom

I was glad to locate a way to do my taxes which had been purchased on a DVD and it player worked great!

Love this accessory as it is helping me rip all my CD's and afforded me the ability to watch some old DVD's when I did not have a TV and waiting until a new one could be installed.

Burned my discs extremely fast, without making much noise at all. Really great improvement from my old bulky burn drives.

Although this item seems to be a little outdated these days, it has come in handy for me! I am glad I got it because my new computer has no way of putting discs in anymore.

Not much to say about a USB drive like this. If you need it because you no longer have this kind of drive in your laptop or have done away with 5" drives in your PC, then it will do the trick.

This external drive was very easy to use. It’s fast too. Very little wait time to read CD’s. Just plug and go! Great product

Good dvd and cd writer which came with a software disk for its drive. The speed of writing and reading is somewhat slow. Well, you get what you paid for. I am ok with this.

Exactly what I was looking for! These newer laptops no longer come with a CD/DVD drive and I like to be able to burn on to them, as well as view my pictures I have saved to them.

My laptop didn’t come with a cd/dvd drive so I bought this one after doing some researching. I love how fast it is. Now I can add any new cds that I purchase to my cd file on my laptop.

This little drive came in handy I had a note book and chromebook they had no drive n need to download some programs n it came though

I plug this DVD player into my computer on vacation. It has a great picture and the sound is good also. My DVD's play very well in it. I would recommend it to anyone. The cost was great. I really like it.

This devise was a perfect fit for a backup hard drive. Its big enough to hold all of the files that you dont want to put on a cloud. Highly recommend!!!!

The player was everything that I hoped that it would be. The delivery was prompt & the cost was very reasonable.

If you purchase a new desk top PC, they no longer come with DVD/CD drives. This is a must and it works as it should. It was instrumental when I had to reload programs from the old to the new PC.

It is a must since most new computers don't have a drive now. Still a lot of times need a DVD or CD that needs to be used in spite of all the streaming. Does not need external power, just plug in to computer.
