I've used it once and it seems to work. It is not all that well made and must be used with care to make sure you don't break it. Also, the connection cord is a bit short.

I have not had an opportunity to use it so I have not taken the time to search for the help to get the product to work correctly. I feel it is very cheaply made of a plastic material.

The technology that began as improvement in quality sound reproduction has degenerated into a quagmire of mediocre performance -- with increasing cost!

Since the MBP is limited in its USB ports. I needed an external optical drive that works on a single USB port. This Dell drive works great!
