    Purchased a similar product by samsung prior to picking this one up when I happened to be in best buy. Had to return the samsung as it flat out didn't work. This one does! Yay.

    Product took a bit to figure out at the instructions only indicated to plug and play. After a few unsuccessful attempts of trying to run the disc I wanted, I used the disk that came with the unit and thereafter everything downloaded fine.

    As most laptops, no longer come equipped with an internal player . This is the next best . I could not survive corona without it.

    Although I don't use it often, the Dell USB DVD is great for a backup device to have on hand.

    I still have use for a dvd reader but laptops don't seem to come with them anymore. This works as well as any if you still have a need for one.

    This DVD External Drive includes the software to be able to actually play DVDs with Windows 10, since Microsoft froze up the Windows Media Player with the upgrade.
