Will not play DVD's on Win10 using Dell XPS8920. I bought it for this purpose only. Included software would not install. Kept giving admin privileges error in spite of me being the only account on the computer.

Something is wrong with the unit as I cannot get my computer(s) to read it. It keeps making sounds as if it's trying to kick in but nothing appears on the screen. I think it's a good unit if I could get it to work, but I think something is definitely wrong with the unit.

Disc drive worked once on one cd. After that it would not read any type of cd. I moved the device to another computer and it did not work on that.

Bought this only because new computers dont come with these anymore. Set it up only to see it didnt show the content of any disk it read. Maybe i didnt set it up correctly

My new Dell all in one did not come with a DVD drive. This was a no brainer decision. Same brand. Works perfectly, but due to vibration during operation tends to migrate across my glass top desk!
Needed DVD drive to load older version of Microsoft Office and to read older saved files on DVDs

This product did not come with an attachment cord. It was of no use to me when I needed it. I spent 1 1/2 hours trying to resolve issues with Best Buy and it was totally futile. All it resulted in was aggravating me and wasting my time.

Trouble getting threw entire dvd rip.

It works but.... it is more likely to cause my PC to close randomly then actually complete a rip. Very disappointing. Probably actually only 1 star. Also seems kind of cheaply made. I wondered how safe it really was to play disc in it.
