We're sorry that your computer is not recognizing the external drive. Here are a few tips to help with your connection:
1. Drive cable may be connected improperly. Verify the interface cable
is connected properly. Disconnect and reconnect the drive.
2. Portable USB drive may not be configured properly. The drive gets its
power from the USB interface. The use of non-powered hubs and/or
daisy-chaining USB peripherals can keep the drive from getting
enough power to function. Try plugging the drive directly into the
USB port on the computer.

The drive works perfectly with my Windows 11 laptop that doesn't have an optical drive. I installed the Cyberlink Media Suite which turned out to be helpful, especially in copying and burning disks. No negatives to report, everything works great!

This one fits the bill perfectly for my needs. I have a huge library of DVDs and CDs. I will be able to enjoy them without hassle. I do have a laptop also; however, I prefer to watch on my desk top, but if I travel, I will be taking this player with me. :) As a matter of fact, my husband was so impressed, that he wants one. I will be purchasing one for his computer very soon.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i recently bought a Lenovo IdeaCentre all in one and there is a DVD on it BUT the burner wasnt working as it should .. i have protection BUT i am disabled and couldnt easily get the computer back to the store because BB should have fixed it for free - I actually ordered an external DVD player from another company because i had a deal and it got here and didnt work so i returned it and purchased this from BB instead ... I received it today - plugged it in and it works perfectly .. I hope i can continue to say that a few months from now but i have protection on this little doohickey too which would be easy to return to the store it was worth it to me not to stress about BB keeping my computer for 3-5 days to install a new burner and be without a computer ... I would highly recommend this Dell burner its perfect and i cant believe lots of computer nowadays dont have DVD/CDs in them ... my friend bought a small tower a weird shape ... it was cute but there is no DVD/CD on it and so many laptops dont have them either ... so this is perfect for that reason

I've had it a couple of months and it works great, no problems. I bought it to archive image files and play cds on my PC, and it does both with little fuss. Completely happy with the drive and Best Buy

The touch screen works great and it is the fastest computer I’ve owned. One of the reasons I decided on this is the size …. It’s a take everywhere , use everywhere size! Also, I use it for photos and it has a great great screen which I need for editing ! I’m happy with it!
