Good product, too much bundle ware, but that is a manufacture issue

I satisfied with this purchase. it's a DVD/read-write drive. I have a lot of CD's to review and this is perfect. The slim cover and the lightness of it makes it convenient for my use. I would purchase this brand again if i needed too. I like that it has a USB hook-up for my computer.

Got this on sale at Best Buy. I used my $10 gift certificate and got this for very little money. It is a very compact unit. No drivers had to be installed. It was plug and play and works great!

Bought on sale for less than $20. Perfect for ripping thrifted CDs to MP3. Since most PCs these days don't have a disk drive, this helps me avoid turning my desktop on just to rip a CD. It is plastic and very slim, so it feels fragile. But so far so good.

This unit was a temporary replacement for an internal optical drive that went bad while still under warranty. HP kept sending the wrong part so I needed a DVD drive in the interim. This Dell met my needs perfectly: USB, available immediately, inexpensive & functional. Plug & play out of the box, it was up and running in seconds and allowed me to keep working while I continued to be frustrated by HP. The Dell is a bit flimsy and a little awkward to open/close but otherwise is a great value. I am now happy to have both internal and external drives.

This worked as expected just fine. Being it is a Dell product designed for Dell products, it works like a charm, although I do not use CD's or DVD's that much anymore. Great product and the cost is not too high for a resale item.

THIS DRIVE IS FAST, INTEGRATES QUICKLY, AND VERY REASONABLE. THERE IS NOT MUCH MORE THAT YOU WILL NEED IT TO DO. IT WORKS GREAT, IS SMALL, AND RUNS WELL. ENJOY IT!

this DVD drive is great, its fast enough to read and play pc games and watch movies with no lag. its compact and feels pretty study, ive dropped it a few times and its held up just fine. ive also had no issues with it scratching my discs either. my only complaint is the cable it comes with is kinda short but other than that its held up fine after a year and a half worth of light/regular use.

Lost my old tower to a devastating storm. Bye-bye motherboard... The old school me doesn't understand why new units don't accommodate DVDs or CDs, but this does the trick. It's a nice addition to my new setup.

Compact, cheap & effective. Works very well. Most new laptops don't have a DVD drive, so this fits the bill very well.

Bought a new PC that doesn't have a CD-Rom. Needed to install some Windows software on CD's that I have used over the years. The Dell plug and play Drive worked perfectly with Windows 11. Fair price also.

This was just what I needed for my laptop. It is compact, easy to use and works well with both of my laptops. The price is reasonable making this an excellent choice.

This is very slim, does not take up a lot of room. Works very well and inexpensive.

Great little external (USB) CD drive. So far I've only used it to test some software before selling it on eBay, to make sure it worked on Windows 10. Also for listening to audio cds. I experienced excellent customer service at my local BestBuy -- friendly staff helped me find the last one on the shelf (lucky!) and I was in and out in 5 minutes! Back at home, it was truly plug-and-play (like most things these days, but still). Very happy with my purchase!

My new laptop doesn't have a CD drive, so I got this external drive. It works fast and is very compact. Very easy to use, no complaints at all!

I bought this because my computer doesn't have a drive and I wanted something reliable, light weight, and cost effective. It has media software that comes in the package with it. It was Media Suite version 12. It gives you several options for tasks. I really wanted it for the sake of playing DVD's, but you can also listen to music, look at files, burn/rip music, etc. It wasn't difficult, at all, to navigate setting up. It looks good, too, if that matters.
