There are two features that I do not like. There is no light indicating that AC power is switched on. The button to start the notebook does not have a clear ON/OFF feeling when you press down the button and often requires several attempts to start the notebook.

Can't upgrade laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter, I thought I would be able to upgrade to a 64GB hard drive but it is on the motherboard. both Ram and the hard drive. if all you need is to get on the internet would be great. but if you want to load almost anything else look to another computer.

The speed is quick even if you have multiple windows open on it. The sound quality is clear as well as videos when you play them.

Christmas gift for my son

It’s the perfect size for an 11 year old I think he’ll be very pleased! On top of that the laptop came with free internet security. Doesn’t get any better than that!

Nice, but slow

Even when browsing it doesn't move smoothly. I bought it for the evenings while I am upstairs putting my son to sleep just to browse with. I use it, just not very often.

Posted .Hi Valued Customer, Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear that your new computer is not as fast as you had hoped it would be. There are a few tips you can try to help speed up your computer:
Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process.
Uninstall applications you no longer use
1) Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel.
2) Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use.
3) Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

First of all if you are thinking about this machine, unless you have a real good knowledge about computers I really wouldn't advise this one. With the small hard drive of only 32 gigs, unless you get a memory card of at least 64 gigs and know how to get it to download all apps straight to it, useless. There is also Windows 7 on it just in case you want to revert to that instead of Windows 10 that comes on it, which I got rid of 7 because it freed up hard drive space so I could fit all of the new Windows 10 updates on it.
