I am indeed impressed with Dell's hardware integration. The Intel Core i3 cpu synergizes well with the companion chipsets. The overall performance, beyond mere speed, is consistent and appears to handle multiple complex tasks with relative ease. The touchscreen is a welcome feature facilitating screen scrolling, resizing and form entry selection similar to a smartphone. The optical drive operates flawlessly and the array of peripheral ports (USB2/USB3/Media/HDMI) is indeed impressive. The display (15.6") is sharp, crisp and highly customizable for insuring ease of viewing without eyestrain. Graphics rendering is intense with excellent attendance to minute detail and smooth streaming. I am also impressed by the casing. The keyboard is very comfortable with excellent key response action. The built-in numeric keypad is a definite plus. The overall textured matte finish is indeed handsome and eliminates the reflective glare (and dirty smudges) caused by traditional glossy finishes.

This computer meets all my expectations and it came at a great price. The touch screen is exceptionally responsive and again, great price for it being a touch screen. Plenty of storage and good processor.

It was a smashing deal! Really affordable and worth the money. 1tb hard drive Intel core i3 and 4gbs of memory! Were what sold me. The touchscreen and the 15.6 inch screen were just bonuses!

I bought mine for $250 open box with two year geaksquad protection included as a warranty. So far, been great for surfing the web and general day to day use, and was easy to upgrade to windows ten (which I did out of the box). Also, the touchscreen works great and as a feature it has really grown on me (I was not looking for one when I bought it, but am happy it has one now that I have it). For the price I paid, I have no major complaints. (Well, the keyboard/trackpad is not the most comfortable, but that is an issue with most notebooks in this range, and the lack of back-lit keys kinda sucks sometimes, but those are my only real gripes.)

This is a great product. I love the price for it and how it came with Microsoft word. I just don't like how sometimes u click or move the cursor somewhere and the whole screen goes out of Wack and will bring up the side settings and all of that. I'm just not use to the new windows. Otherwise it's a great product to have for the price. I love the touch screen and how big the screen is also.

Works great for doing my school works. Pretty good speed. This is my first touch screen laptop and I really like it. Good for downloading music and videos and staying in touch with friends. I would recommend this laptop as a great deal and I was really happy about the price I got it for. Well worth the price for this kind of performance.

I am pleased in general with my Dell Inspiron. It is lightweight and easy to use. When I installed Windows 10. while I like many of the features, I have found it challenging to adjust to. I use Google Chrome instead of Windows Edge and it seems that the two systems don't like each other.

Needed laptop for mobile use in the house. Have a desktop and iPad but needed portable with USB capability. It performs as expected and the touch screen adds ease of use without having to use the touch pad or external mouse. ery pleased with the performance and features.

I have always had a Dell and once again I am impressed! The only downfall is the windows 8. Hopefully with the windows 10 coming out in July it will be better. I like the look and style of this laptop and I was a little worried about the touch screen but I actually love it!

This computer is really interesting! I was shocked that it was a touchscreen considering the price I got it for. It also came in a bundle with Internet security and Microsoft office. I was impressed with the battery life as well. Great buy would definitely recommend.

Bought this laptop for my wife mainly for photo editing and it is quite capable for what she wanted it for. The first one we purchased though would freeze up randomly and progressively got worse over the 2 weeks we had it. Performed a factory reset and again froze during setup. I have no doubt it was just a random fluke. The demo model worked fine and the replacement has no issues. It is a basic laptop but still has a 1tb drive and bluetooth, 2 features that factored into the purchase. It is a bundle deal, however had no desire for the Kaperski or Office 365. Even though we aren't using the bundled software, it is still a good deal for the features the laptop has. Image quality is good, sound is as expected from laptop speakers and battery life is very good compared to her old laptop (2-3 times the life).

At times it is slow and sometimes freezes. I don't use the touch screen but when there seems to be a problem with the keys, it is useful. Overall I am happy with it, and was perfect for writing research papers for college.

I bought this computer for my mom on Mother's Day. She previously had an older hp laptop that stopped working. She absolutely loves this computer! She is not too tech savy, so it took her a little bit to understand the touch screen aspects of it. However, now she knows how to use the computer better than I do. It's affordable, and has enough memory so she can do all her papers and power points. It was definitely a good buy.

Needed to replace an older laptop, and wanted a new touchscreen machine. This laptop runs well, doesn't overheat, there isn't a constant hot fan (had that lots with older laptop), and the touchscreen works well.

Strong laptop touch screen is a plus for this price you can't beat the 1TB hard drive and 4Gigs memory and the fact that MS Office 360 and Kaspersky come with it is kind of amazing to find at this price.

I like all of the features. Easy to use if you are familiar with using a smart phone and swiping. May take some getting used to if you are used to accessing programs from the desktop.
