My old laptop was a Lenovo that I had for years, however, it started malfunctioning. Since I am on a budget I purchased this laptop on line for a great price on a Black Friday Special. It had 4 Star rating and I am sorry I did not read the reviews prior to purchasing it. It is chinsey feeling and sluggish which is surprising due the specs it is supposed to come with. It took 3 tries before it would load the Windows updates and I haven't even installed any Office applications yet. The number pad is not set to "Num Lock" so every time I turn the lap top on the number pad will not work until I push the "Num Lock" key (which By the Way does not have a light to indicate if it is on or off). I haven't been able to figure out how to undo that setting yet. I did see the other reviews indicating other owners had to uninstall some apps to help speed up the computer, but so far I haven't been able to speed it up. Also, I am not loving this Windows 10 or maybe I just need to get used to it. I suppose you get what you pay for.

I bought this laptop before the Black Friday sale and got a very good deal. First time I saw a laptop for sale with a 8Gb memory and 2TB storage for the price. Wow

2TB HDD and 8GB RAM with i5 for with Touch screen is awesome to have

Finally upgrading from my 2009 Dell Laptop with Windows Vista. That computer had a smaller screen and a shorter keyboard and I am really liking that this one has the numeric keyboard on the side; I'd missed that feature. Battery lasts for a very long time indeed on this one. My '09 battery still worked but was only good for about an hour and a half and gave me error messages. I've used an Ipad but the touch screen on this computer seems to work much better. Windows 10 takes a little getting used to but it is relatively intuitive, the few items that totally stumped me I can look up online.

Very speedy, spacious hard drive, and great graphics for a machine at this price - well, I got it on the Thanksgiving special, so it makes it even a better buy!

I paid $359.99 in thanksgiving deal. So far, find it OKAY for the price paid. Build does not look expensive. But, for the price paid, configuration is quite good. Please note that you need to let it upgrade and update softwares and Utilities for first 5 to 6 hours before you start to use it caually (Wait for Disk usage to come down to steady 10% to 20%)

Works great and good for the low price good amount of space also.

I got this in a black Friday sale just of reading the specs. I'm quite happy with my purchase especially because of the price. As others have mentioned, it is quite slow to startup but improves when you remove all the Dell programs that you'll never use. It isn't fancy but considering its size (it is big) it isn't that heavy which I'm very happy about.

Purchased on Black Friday sale, excellent laptop for the money. Fast and responsive. Touchscreen works well.

Setup took a bit long but once completed it has been working great. I’m very satisfied with the speed of the computer for the Black Friday price I paid.

I did hours of research before purchasing this laptop. I was comparing laptops from all retailers at Black Friday prices in the $400 range, and this is the one that won. I have been using the laptop for about 2 weeks, and have no complaints. Having experience with SSDs I sometimes wish this had one, but it is an easy upgrade and if you leave your laptop on most of the time (like I do) it really isn't that big of a deal. I actually thought this was such a great laptop for the price, that I recommended it to a family member who bought one at the sale price as well.

This computer is good for its money, specially after the BlackFriday discount. It was for my mother in law and she wanted to have a good modern system that work. It took a few hours to setup but everything works well. The only improvement area I can think of is a faster hard drive or have a SSD as boot drive. Otherwise, it is a good value.

Runs great so far. Nice part is that the Geek squad removed all the bloatware from the laptop. Runs fast. Love the touch screen. Definitely a keeper.

For personal home use this is a nice laptop. It was very easy to set up. Cortana walks you through it! Runs faster than my old laptop so I'm happy!

Got one for my son. He loves it! Should last him thru college. Fast, light weight, plenty of storage, and can upgrade to 16 RAM. A true BEST BUY!

for what I paid for this laptop it has performed above my expectations! only things I don't like are smaller keys, no backlit keyboard and screen quality image is ok not super (HD) quality clear! for 350.00 I would buy another one without hesitation ! Processing speed is up to my standards as well. Buy one it works just fine
