I have now had this laptop for 2 years and it is next to useless. It worked great for the first couple months, and soon became incredibly laggy and started making crazy noises and the screen would go nuts. I paid for the extra warranty for fixing and I sent it in for repair—they replaced the screen.... which did not fix the issue at all. Since, it has been the slowest piece of crap and pain in my butt. It literally barely works. Meanwhile, I have a laptop I got in 7th grade that works way better (Im 26 now). Total garbage, but sure is a great paper weight.

Keeps dropping the internet whereas other older computers at the same table do not. Screen bulges on the bottom. Will have to take it back to get checked and fixed.

      Ljamina,

Thanks for your review and for your recent purchase. Here are some tips to help with the WiFi drops that you're experiencing:

      1. Download and install the latest Wireless Card driver. (https://dell.to/2th3Tpe) After updating the driver, re-establish the connection with the Wireless Access Point and check the wireless performance.
      2. If the issue persists, proceed to step 3.
      3. Power-cycle the local network. Shut down the Dell system, the Wireless Access Point/Router and the Modem. Wait a minimum of 60 seconds before powering up the components in the following order:
      4. Power ON the Modem, and wait for it to boot fully.
      5. Power ON the Wireless Access Point/Router, and wait for it to boot fully.
      6. Power ON the Dell system.
      7. Open Network and Sharing Center
      8. In the left side navigation pane, click on Change Adapter Settings
      9. Right click on the wireless connection icon and select Properties followed by the Configure button
      10. Under Wireless Options, select the Wireless N mode
      11. For Windows 8 or later systems click the Advanced tab and look for 802.11n Mode on the right you will be given the option to Enable or Disable. If the mode is not visible you may need to update your drivers and firmware.
      12. From the drop-down menu, choose Disable followed by Ok
      13. This should restore the wireless download and upload speed. Internet speed can be tested at http://speedtest.net.

This was a terrible experience with Best Buy. I was totally disappointed. The laptop took forever to get my house and when it got there, it don’t work. The laptop could not see a network or Wi-Fi card therefore it couldn’t get on the internet. Since it could get on the internet, I could do anything with it. Customer service was no good. The only thing they could do was give me an appointment 4-5 days out at a local Best Buy. I returned it before the appt date. A total waste of time.
