That's not to say it's without competition, though.

I wanted a smaller laptop with a solid state hard drive that I could use when I travel around to different classrooms. I also needed great battery life. I've found that the battery will last between 6 and 8 hours. Perfect for a full day of teaching. This laptop is an all-around great buy (especially now that it's $100 cheaper than when I bought it). The only negative is that the power button is on the right side where you grab to pick it up, so you accidentally shut it off sometimes. It doesn't happen often, and it starts back up so quickly, it's negligible. Certainly not enough for me to not give it 5 stars.

I am very pleased with my purchase. It has handled everything that I have thrown at it over the past 2 weeks. I am a college student and installed the Microsoft suite and it has handled all programs with ease. I absolutely love the touch screen functionality and purchased a digital pen to use as well. One con is the touch pad. It does not have the physical left/right click as my prior laptop had. Instead it is all included on the touch pad. I am now used to this function however, so it was just something to get used to. The speed is excellent and I had no issues with the wifi. I have not utilized the Bluetooth functionality yet, however I am excited to do so. I definitely recommend this purchase. It is very light, and a great laptop for mobility.

It's an excellent computer for the price. Really good for daily use, fast, lightweight, and great battery life.

I purchased this laptop to connect via wifi to my cell phone. This laptop doe's a great job speed wise, key board is really nice, lights up nicely, the ssd drive is fast working with the i3 processor, was skeptical, but this was a Great purchase. Screen gives off really nice clear colors, and the battery lasts me about nine hours. I did get it on sale, and used a couple BB coupons as well, just a great buy.

Was looking to buy a replacement for my ThinkPad. Wanted more than just a tablet . Wanted more battery life . I got them both with what I bought , when I added One Note to the Dell unit I bought . It's more than an android tablet and I and still adjusting to it all. I like writing directly on the screen. Is a plus since I do jot type very well.

I have bought several of these for the office and one for home. Very light, attractive, well powered computer for the price. Touch screen works well. Great for an application where you don't need a ton of storage (e.g. running work internet or cloud based apps).

This laptop is absolutely wonderful and allows me to get the job done. The touchscreen feature is an added bonus for sure! Another excellent feature is the multi-mode hinge, which also gives the feel of a tablet. Lightweight, easy to carry...LOVE IT!

More than pleased with the performance of this laptop. Bought it for my son and it's very lightweight, thin, fast and the feature to flip to a tablet is perfect! Touchscreen works great. No negatives so far. Highly recommend.

I’ve never been a big fan of Dell but a Best Buy employee talked me into this 2 in 1. I couldn’t be happier he did. The laptop/tablet is perfect for my needs which is really just a handheld computer I can carry around my house. Not too pricey for what you get either as this laptop and do it all. Very pleased with this purchase.

I was skeptical purchasing a dell because of prior reviews and the bad reputation it developed in the mid 2000’s; however, it does what I need. Light, portable, enough storage and windows 10 for the price this is a good computer to be up to date.

I love this laptop. It is lightweight, portable, & works efficiently. I have been very pleased with it. I've enjoyed surfing the web, watching movies, & listening to music on it. The perfect laptop for me.

This laptop is much lighter and compact than my previous laptop. It also converts into a tablet (though I have never used it as a tablet). I wish it had a bigger hard drive -- more memory.
