I bought another Dell last year for a third of the cost. It only lasted 9 months. I was hoping if I spent more I would get more quality, but I started having problems with this one 2 weeks after I got it and the power source went out after 4 months. The manufacturers were great about replacing it and fixing other issues, but save yourself some trouble and buy a Lenova!

Posted .Alica, dreadful to read about the power issues you've been facing. Did you get it fixed? If not, check out these troubleshooting steps: Power off the system.
Disconnect any external peripherals (flash drives, printers, external hard drives) from the computer.
Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the battery from it.

Didn't know if he would use the tablet much, but it has come in handy as several of his text books are online and it is easier to read them in the tablet function. Lighted key board is really nice. Great size. Weight is okay - better than our old laptop, but could be lighter for carrying around all day. Overall, we have been very happy with the purchase.
