I've been using my Dell Inspiron for college and so far, everything has been great. Aesthetically, it's a very beautiful and sleek computer. I've gotten many compliments! My favorite features are the backlit keyboard (there are two brightness settings, perfect for working in dark places) and the touchscreen / "2-in1" because I can scroll through social media more comfortably (like in the second picture), watch movies, or do my readings for uni. I also really like the optimization of the screen space, with very thin edges. The aluminum chassis is a big improvement over the plastic chassis from a few years ago. The only thing that I miss from my old laptop is the numeric pad. I do mostly light work: browsing the Internet, working on Word documents, running commands on Stata... And I haven't had any issues. The fan can be a bit noisy, especially while updating the system, or if I'm using it while it's charging, but I haven't had any problems with overheating. It charges fast (about two hours when switched off) and the battery is enough to last me all day at the university. I am very satisfied with my purchase and I do notice a big upgrade compared to my last computer. I hope my laptop continues to perform as well as it has been doing so far.

I love my new laptop, turns on fast, finger print ID, long battery life, gorgeous blue color, CLEAR wide screen that is able to convert into a 16.5in tablet! Great buy.

This laptop is amazing! Screen size is big [16in]. It has touchscreen capabilities [screen can be folded up to use as a tablet. [Very cool]. The screen is very bright and I'm able to see everything clearly without having the brightness all the way up. Backlit keyboard is great for nighttime gaming or surfing the web. The processor [AMD Ryzen 7 7000 series] runs very fast and beautifully. The total storage capacity on the laptop is 1000gb [1Tb] which is nice for smaller games, storing pictures/videos. RAM is 16GB. The device can efficiently handle large amounts of information at one time. Its a good general minimum standard. Large amounts of RAM will help with multitasking but will primarily improve performance in complex programs and operations like loading apps, browsing websites, and editing documents. The device is able to still preform well even with multiple tabs opened & games or apps running in the background. The graphics are amazing. Very sharp and crisp. I am finally able to run games on ultra/high without the game lagging or glitching out. The only thing you may notice is the cooling fans are a bit loud but is easily overlooked because the performance of the device is great! Depending on what you intend to use the laptop for battery is pretty decent. I can get about three hours use in before the 20% battery notification comes on. I also tend to keep the charger fairly close to me. Laptop has some weight to it [unless I am just weak] but not overly heavy. Overall I am very impressed with this new laptop. It exceeds my expectations and runs so smooth. I would recommend this laptop if you are just starting out gaming, if you have a heavy social media presence and need to edit alot of pictures and videos or would just like to own a laptop that runs great. The Dell - Inspiron 16.0" 2-in-1 Touch Laptop has a wonderfully big screen, eliminating the need for a stand-alone monitor and all of the Windows glitchiness of getting the laptop to recognize the separate monitor when it is connected. The touch pad is difficult to use and an external wireless mouse is highly recommended. The Dell comes with one "old style" (big) USB port which is a big attraction for connecting all of my legacy devices (GPS hardware, among others). The Windows 11 operating system seems like "amateur hour" compared with my wife's latest macOS. Microsoft couldn't manage to provide basic PDF file editing (like commenting, merging pages together or saving a PDF as a JPEG image for editing). And the lack of a Start button is maddening; each time I need to use a program (err..."app"), I must search for it. Even if I've used it for 10 days in a row, Microsoft fails to add it to the bar at the bottom of the screen. How hard would it be to include that as an operating system feature?

Works like a charm. Battery life could have been better. Software updates are slow as usual. Constrution seems sturdy and would hold up well. Screen is beautiful to look at.
