Wanted desperately to love this laptop as I have my other Dells in the past, this one is just not a for someone who needs it to perform every day. I spent months deciding between several brands, sizes and price points. I need a computer for designing graphic arts and embroidery so it has to work every day. I have had Dells and HP's. This laptop worked without lapsing or hesitating for about 2 months, then the problems started with bogging down between sites and not wanting to boot up. I am an advocate for cleaning up old files and making sure I do my due diligence on maintenance on my hardware. It just did not matter on this laptop. I talked to Dell tech support several times and finally ended up sending it back due to battery issues at 9 months with a solid promise the battery would be replaced as well as the hard drive. To clean off everything I had on this laptop took many days and hours of backups. When I got back my laptop two days later, no new hard drive no new battery. Only the hard drive had been wiped clean and a note. "Thank you for trusting us with your laptop". The battery was only lasting 90 minutes when I sent it back and is still a huge issue. This was VERY disappointing, very. Dell used to be THE name in computers now Dell's quality has diminished severely, I was an advocate for them for over 15 years. I am a very unhappy client after spending $1200 for a product that did not even last a year.

This is my second purchase of a Dell 17.3 inch Inspiron with 512 solid state drive. I liked the first one so much, I wanted a second one for a backup. It is faster and does not get as warm as my previous laptop.

have always had a desktop or tablet, this is my first venture in to laptops, I really like the speed and clarity in the screen. I bought this to store my photos and do photo editing, so far so good

The screen 17inch was my main reason for purchase. Very pleased with the HD screen and adaptability to control color saturation.

Great computer so far. Haven’t had any issues thankfully. Solid state drive is definitely the way to go.

The Dell laptop has all the features I wanted. The ease of use is much better than my old laptop.

Excellent!! I had read the reviews so I knew I was getting a good product but I wasn't sure about the speaker quality. I am very pleased with the sound. Not only is it fast, easy to clean and user friendly- the speakers sound fantastic.

I have had a succession of Dell computers and still like them the best. This one is slim and lightweight so it travels well. It is a great improvement on my seven year old Dell.

Perfect for those that want the biggest touchscreen money can buy. Well-built, feels solid. Great for a business dinner presentation in tent-mode or just sitting at home on your desk.

I use this for work, it handles all of my projects with easy and doesn’t slow down at all
