I have had this Dell 2 in 1 laptop PC for about one month. Works very well. Surprisingly fast to boot up with its standard type hard drive. But a few "settling in" issues-- Like a number of other people's experience there were a few frustrating days getting the Wifi to work. Needed another computer to get the fresh driver. The trackpad is OK, but not spectacular. (Touch screen works well though.) Sound from speakers was odd until I figured out that Dell did not default it with the optimum equalizer/virtual room setup...after that it sounds decent. Windows 10 is half pluses and half negatives; not Dell's fault, but I did expect W10 to come without so many driver and 3rd party software interface problems. Every setup, even of MS sourced software, tends to be tedious and a trial of patience (was hoping for an Apple "integrated" type experience, but MS dropped the ball here). Overall though, this Dell 15" laptop is a good choice for my needs of moving around the house while doing basic computer tasks.

After first receiving this laptop and setting it up, I ran into problems with the wifi. I could not turn it on for the life of me. I probably tried for 20 min to connect to my network, but that wouldn't even show up. I knew it wasn't a network thing because all my other devices were working just fine. So, frustrated I decided to restore the laptop to factory settings. This solved my wifi delema, and I continued on setting up my computer. I turned it off, went to sleep, and then that morning after I turn on the laptop to see if the wifi was still running fine. And to my amazement, it was gone. Nothing. Not even a wifi option in the settings. I ran troubleshooting. Nothing. I then decided to call Dell, and they ran me through a set of tests. Still nothing, and they told me it must be a sophtware thing, and it would cost about $120 to fix. Which blew my mind. Because my intention was not to buy a broken computer then have to pay to fix it.... Still dumbfounded about that. Anywho, so I came back later from work, turned it in, and there it is. Wifi. Magically back. However it says "limited use". I turned to good old YouTube to figure out what that meant and how to fix it. And that resolved the problem for about 10min until the wifi once again disappeared. I ran the troubleshooting again and this time it told me there was a hardwear error. So I'm taking it back tomorrow and exchanging it. Other than that everything works great, it's just a shame that the hardwear was broken. I have high hopes that the one I exchange it for will not have any answer flaws either.

Fantastic computer for a fantastic price. Windows 10 is a setback to this, but I'm about to revert to Windows 7.
The overall computer is really great. It feels pretty sturdy, and is definitely not a "light" computer. But I'm willing to use a computer that weighs a little more in order to use a faster computer.
Having the i7 and 8GB of RAM makes for super-fast processing speed. I have several CPU intensive programs I have to use for work, and when run on this computer, beats out any computer I have ever had in the past .
The only minor issue I have with this is that opening / closing the computer doesn't feel sturdy sometimes.
But overall, if you're considering a new PC that is powerful, I'd go for this.

I bought this laptop for my sister who is in college and she has projects and presentations all the time. This laptop for me checks all the columns in terms of performance, style and design.
Slightly bulky for usage as a tablet and gets slightly heated up during charging. No other complains apart from this. Running solid after a month's usage.

Ok, I tried out 3 different laptops and I ended up with the conclusion that this is the best laptop for the 15" market with everything that I was looking for and a great price. The HP Spectre was annoying because of they keyboard (which includes a 10 key) shifting everything to the left and off center. I have always loved Dell keyboards - this one is backlit. With the i7 processor, I can work on video editing and the 1TB is good too for storage, though I might upgrade to a SSD in the future.
Anyways, get this laptop - I love it and I bet you will to. If its outside of your price range, spend the extra $. I bought a lower end model and returned it for this one, which costs $100 more!

I bought this laptop because it had an Intel I7 processor with 8 GB RAM and 1TB hard drive. It works great so far, but even with the RAM and processor being somewhat powerful it still bogs down when only a couple of windows are open. Had issues shortly after purchasing with the Wireless card not working properly, but found that it was caused by an update from windows to the Wireless Adapter. After rolling back the update it appears to be good now. I would recommend this laptop for a college student who needs to write papers and to browse the internet, but I don't think that it would be good for video/picture editing or for any gaming other than light gaming.

Lucky we got the floor model of this computer so it was fairly cheap. Overall the computer is great, when it works. The wifi constantly cuts out and when it does you have to reboot. It seems to be a windows issue as it seems to be getting better when they push updates. Battery life is good. Some times it has a trouble restarting, claiming it has a HDD issue.

This is a high quality laptop with lots of storage space and good quality components. It is fast and responsive and the amount of bloatware on this computer is fairly minimal. I would recommend this computer. It comes with Windows 10 and so it is ready to go. The display is impressive and the touch screen is responsive.

Excellent laptop for everyday use. It is quiet but the battery life is utter rubbish. The build quality also leaves a lot to be desired. There is a great deal of flex on the front cover and screen. Also there is no VGA, or Ethernet port for wired internet. This is rather disappointing since not all locations have Wi-Fi. Windows X is an added improvement from 8, and the bumbling 8.1 OS. The key board is also a bit cumbersome and the track pad is total rubbish like is common with most mid range laptop. The Acer or XPS laptops seem to have a superior track pad. The screen resolution is pretty awesome with very little washout. There is also no dvd/rw drive so if your a dvd enthusiast, this is simply not the laptop for you, The graphics card can also not handle too much load without freezing up. All in all in all it is a good business laptop which replaced my T420.

This computer is great. It is fast and windows 10 is a nice addition. I had to exchange within the first week due to the wifi not staying connected and it still happens from time to time. I read that it's likely due to windows 10 and not the computer. I love the 2 in 1 feature and how slim it is also.

This seems to be a quality built laptop but I'm less than impressed with Windows 10. Connecting to wifi networks has been challenging, mainly due to the software. Laptop also has no ethernet port.

I was shopping for a laptop but choose this 2- in-1 for the price. I didn't think I'd use the tablet feature but I have and I like it. The speed and screen resolution are good, as well.

I totally enjoy my time with my new Dell Inspiron! I love the processing speed and the 8GB RAM for my level of softwares installed required for programming. I do play a lot of games, however the battery gets a little heated up. The processor makes some noise when it gets heated up. So i have to manually go and kill the background process to make the system shhh....
Other than that I haven't faced any other problem so far since 4 months of use. The battery back up it around 4 hours which is pretty good for i7
I love the design and color ... all eyes on my laptop! haha
I'm not much of a tablet person, but i like the feature of tablet and laptop!

This laptop is good for traveling as it is fairly light (under 5 lbs) and it can handle regular usage. It is not a heavy duty laptop and should not be used by someone who is hard on their computers. If you are a college student or business traveler, look elsewhere for something that is designed to be heavier duty. However, this will work fine for regular use.
