Refurbished Dell Latitude 3120 fails after updates

Refurbished Dell Latitude 3120 arrived in good cosmetic condition and powered on initially. I completed setup and ran Windows updates. After restarting, the laptop became completely unresponsive — no charging light, no LED activity, and would not power on despite multiple reset attempts. The charger brick had power. Failed within days, which raises concerns about refurbishment quality.
