This laptop is replacing a 12+ year old Dell XPS machine. This new laptop is so much lighter, thinner and with the solid state drive versus the old type of hard drive is much faster. Editing picture files is much faster too. I am having to get used to a touch screen versus the old not touch screen. This feature, while not necessary, is a nice to have option. In closing, I would say this machine I hope lasts as long as the previous. It is a fast machine just like the one it is replacing when it was new 12+ years ago. If you have the budget (and catch a sale) I would suggest you seriously consider this machine.

IMO this is the premier Windows laptop for any kind of performance work. I use it as my travel computer for my recording studio. I run Pro Tools and a whole host of heavy-lifting plugins, and this thing doesn't break a sweat. The OLED screen looks incredible, the little features all sum up to an incredible computing experience. Highly recommend as an alternative to the Macbook Pro series.

I typically purchase a personal laptop, primarily for home use and light travel on a 5-10 year cadence. Dell's Inspiron and XPS line has consistently presented excellent price to quality/performance even more so at crossover when new models are due. Count me a repeat customer, this latest model is extra solid and a stunner.

I thought the screen was beautiful and the whole computer beautiful, It was sleek and loved how everything looked. Unfortunately for me as a female with small hands I had to return the laptop due to their keyboard being seamless which made each key larger than normal so my hands could not fit the keyboard and would spend double the time correcting my work, so had to return it, If it wasn't for this issue, its an awesome laptop

recently purchased a Dell laptop with an Intel Core i9 processor from Best Buy, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This laptop is solidly constructed of all metal . It has a brilliant 4k display. mIt has plenty of usb ports . It starts up fast

This is my first XPS and I think it is very nice. I have had other Dell laptops the most recent prior to this one is a Inspiron 2 in 1 touchscreen. My XPS is superior in every way. The only thing that I have to get used to is the keyboard. I got an incredible deal. Save hundreds of dollars.

The lid does not open all the way straight out. Look at angle. Ok, laptop but lacks features that standard for most laptops machines. Not subjective it actually is sort of boring but fast laptop.

Great find. The Dell XPS lives up to its reputation. This was an returned item for sale on bestbuy.com. The price was great (35% lower). Had to replace the screen after 6 months. Otherwise, runs well.

The pc has a clear picture and high speed accessing we sites and application. It is light weight and the mouse feature provides easy operation performance vs a mouse pad.

Beautiful screen, and slick keyboard. However, it's really heavy and pretty thick. As such, it is not really a great laptop if you are a frequent flyer

The laptop screen brightness is phenomenal and the overall performance is impressive for heavy work load by an EE major and a casual gamer.

No problems at all, my child loves it and will be using it when he goes to college here in a few weeks.
