Made an exchange . It didn’t work either it had a bios problem.. Got an Alienware going to try it. Best Buy has been helpful.

Some are retail with varied amounts of RAM and different graphic cards as the type that Best Buy sells, and a couple of them come with slightly different configurations and sold through "Membership warehouse clubs" (you know the names). In this case our boss bought a couple of these (this model) for the office. We have not had them very long so I can't comment on the longevity but I'll make a few comments about other items. My past experience with a XPS machine was actually poor (4 years ago). It was REALLY loud, slow, and buggy. So I was leery when they brought these in. But I'll have to say that SO FAR, this one is very quiet. Surprisingly quiet. The i7 processor and 16 gigs or ram along with 4 gigs of video work well together and it's pretty speedy. Even when doing something intensive, the fans will rev up but just make an air sound - not anything squeaky or creeky. Any issues: Most desktops today no longer use the nicer, more solidly built DVD drives. They use the more cheaply made laptop type DVD trays (as does this model). So if you plan on playing music or movies on this, you probably won't like it because those cheaper DVDs are LOUD when they spin. This computer is geared more for work and surfing/productivity, not DVD movie or CD music playback. I also did a scan and found out the hard drive is a Seagate brand - they don't have the best reputation for long lives (just FYI). An extended warranty might be advisable and BACK UP your stuff regularly "just in case". Overall though, I'd recommend this system compared to older models from this series.
