You can’t not have this movie in your Christmas Collection!

Die Hard has never looked better. The 4K really does look very good. Using the original negative was shot on 35 mm film using Panavision cameras and anamorphic lenses, save for limited effects shots which were done in 65 mm. The original camera negative has been scanned in native 4K, graded for high dynamic range (in HDR10) and it’s presented on Ultra HD at the proper 2.39:1 theatrical aspect ratio. It’s safe to say that this image has never looked better. The soundtrack is ok considering the original was Dolby Stereo. Mixing doesn't sound as good as new films of course but it is satisfying. For the 30th Anniversary I'm happy with it. Physical media is still the best way to enjoy a 4K UHD film. I recommend this title for your collection.

Best Christmas Movie ever! I just had to get it in 4K

Awesome movie for a fair price. Bruce Willis is awesome along with the entire cast.

Die Hard is one of my top 10 action films of all time, and it has never looked or sounded better in this 4K release. There are a few scenes where’s the picture is a bit grainy, but overall it’s a good transfer. I’m not sure it’s worth the upgrade if you already own it on blu Ray, but I’d definitely would recommend this release to anyone who hasn’t previously purchased it.

I'm amazed with the quality of the sound and picture on this video transfer. It looks great on my new 4K TV. Highly recommended if you're a fan of this film! "Now I have a machine gun... Ho-Ho-Ho!"

One of my favorite action movies from the 80's. Looks great in HDR

The movie that started a million dollar franchize is now back in 4K. Is this a Christmas movie? I'd say yes, but no matter how you feel about the movie, it's definitely a treat to watch it in 4K.

I received this copy for Xmas. A great classic movie redone in 4K. The picture quality is good. Not quite truly 4K like newer movies but it's an upgrade from the original movie. Still, I'm glad I got this copy.

This is a great movie for holiday. The digital copy is also movie anywhere compatible and available at all streaming services once redeemed at any one of them. Excellent value at a great price!

You need to have this in your movie collection, especially for the holidays! A couple of extra features for the 30th Anniversary edition. In my opinion, this is the best movie in the DH series.

Classic action movie of all time. Now in high def 4K. Great acting. Great humor. Great story. Great effects for a 90’s movie. Enjoy always. Probably In one of my top 10 Action of all time.

To begin with most will know the movie so not reviewing that. The 4K transfer is by far the best this movie has looked for me. Worth it for those that both love the movie and want the best picture.

Ok. my wife's favorite Christmas movie... We watched it in 4K and those Tandy and IBM monitors and PC's were pure AWESOME in the background! Is it worth the price for 4K? Oh yeah, we LOVED IT!!
