You should always have at least one spare battery. This one does the trick. I use it for my DJI Osmo Mobile and my applications are short 10-15 minute shoots 2 times/day. With this scenario, this battery lasts a long time. I would recommend getting an external Osmo charger for the battery so you can use the device while the 2nd battery is charging.

if you are serious about filming with your iPhone you need two things. Lots of iPhone storage and extra batteries for your Osmo.

If you own an Osmo, this is a must have to extend your shooting time. Always good to have a back up when your 1st battery runs out.

OEM battery for the Osmo is needed for those jobs you need extended time. Not a good thing to be recording action and the battery dies...

Run time depends on what type of gimbal you use for the Osmo as the motors use different amounts of energy

It's a battery for the Osmo. The batteries don't last forever, so a couple extras in your kit is always the way to go.

I bought an extra battery before the latest dji software update where they fixed a lot of battery's issues. Not real issues but before they used to last 30 to 45 min, now with the update they last a good 2-3 hrs depending on the resolution. good!

Stick with the original DJI accessories. Battery works great.

The second battery is a great addition. One battery has lasted me a entire wedding reception. So having two was over kill, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

What can you say about a battery? It either works or it doesn't. This one works just like the original. It would be nice if it came with a charging station.
