Works for direct connection, not with splitter

The cable works fine if connected directly from source to TV. When i put it through a Kinivo HS140 1x4 splitter, TV woud show no-signal. I have another TV (same model) on the next port using a 50-ft Blue Rigger cable, and everything works. (Yes i tried switching the ports). I don't know if it is HDCP or signal/noise issue. The cable direction was correct. (Product description could also have beem more complete with a "directional cable" specification).

Went against my better judgement to buy such a cheap cable because of all the good reviews... Video drops out or goes fuzzy every few seconds.. Called best buy support and they suggested I bring it to a retail location for an exchange.. Closest store is 1.5 hour each way.. Don't think I'll be driving 3 hours round trip to exchange a $25 cable... I asked if I could send back for a refund and was told only way I could be refunded is if I bring it in to the store... Very displeased
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
