Our IT person recommended getting a solid state drive so purchased this one. Performs very well, super fast. Found it on sale so was a good price.

This is not only the fastest computer I have ever purchased, but it is also the nicest. the frame the this HP Envy desktop look amazingly stylish.

This PC performs like a machine that costs twice as much. The i5 processor, SSD, and 12 Gb of ram offer great performance for everyday needs.

When I first turned it on I had to double check because it is so quiet. It also boots up very fast and I can run multiple programs at once.

This desktop took no time to set up and has been lightning fast since I first booted it up. A great PC with loads of storage.

First desktop picked up had noisy power supply. Returned and 2nd has been great. Fast and easy migration using Laplink.

I bought this along with a 25" HP monitor to replace an old machine that quit on me. I have all my programs loaded to the solid state drive, and data on the mechanical D-drive. It boots up extremely fast, and has worked great for the month and a half that I have had it. My only complaints are that between the tower and monitor, the only audio output (other than HDMI) for speakers is the headphone jack, and that the USB ports are in the top of the tower angled to the rear, making plugging in a flash drive blind and clumsy.

Good computer, runs fast, boots up quick. It needs to have a few more USB ports so you don't have to buy and extension USB port device.

When I bought this computer, it was discounted $150 from the full price on the HP website. For $550, the value couldn't be beat. An i7 processor would have been faster, but I'm not a big gamer, mostly doing word processing, email, and internet searching. It's 128 gb solid state drive enables it to turn on and restart quickly and allows faster opening of programs, and the 12gb of RAM keeps it from bogging down when multiple programs are open. Overall, a great purchase.
