I've used a few projectors in my time but this short throw projector from Epson is by far the best one I've ever used. By far! To start with you should be fairly warned it is pretty large, but not in a bad way. Yes it's a bit beefy but that is a good thing. My guess on the weight (it is on the heavy side) is that's it's from the built in Yamaha sub woofer. Yes, this unit has a built in 2.1 Yamaha sound system that sounds much better than one would expect from a projector. To me it sounds about as good as a separate sound system. It makes watching movies that much more enjoyable. As good as the sound is it really just sets the stage for that amazing picture! One problem I've had in the past with projectors has been that unless the room you are using it is perfectly dark then your picture is not as clear or bright. Well with this projector that is not the case. This unit throws a crystal clear and bright picture. Night or day! I set this up in my living room which has a couple of largish windows that let in a lot of daylight during the day. While I do have black out curtains they don't get all the light and there is some leakage. With this projector even if I don't close the curtains I still get a bright, sharp, and clear picture. To me that is impressive. Throw in the fact that this is a "short throw" projector it means i don't have this on the other side of the room or mounted to the ceiling. Nice bonus! Once you have it out of the box and plugged in just download the Epson app and get it set up. Connect it to your wi fi and you are up and running with Google TV. If you're like me connect your Apple TV and you have everything you need. I set mine up to give me the equivalent of a 100 inch display because, why not? This is where the advantage of a short throw projector shows itw worth. This is mounted on a cabinet next to a white wall which negates the need for a projector screen which means it doesn't scream "I'm a projector". Makes it feel more natural. The short throw aspect along with the built in sound system with Google TV makes this unit a nice addition to my home entertainment set up. Well worth it!

I love my projector. I truly wish the sales guy would be more transparent about the Netflix app not being available. After our purchase, we learned that Netflix and Epson have beef with each other, and Netflix doesn't allow the installation of their app on this product. Get it together guys...

This is the most amazing projector experience i've had. It feels like a TV. Saving up for the 4k version
