Bought this when it launched. Dont waste your $$$

They worked, a little lag when trying to access videos...but i figured they would fix that in future updates. After the 3rd update or 4 months of ownership, device and app could no longer communicate. Unpaired, deleted, repaired. Worked for a week or so. Next update killed any troubleshooting. 2 weeks ago received another update. Device went into format memory card boot loop. Did a hard reset and device still didnt work.went on the escort forums and found a bunch of other posts similar to my situation. Another thing to note is the drive smarter app is rated 2 stars. Thats whay too high! Returned this paperweight and got a uniden that works without issues. What a headache this was!

I do think the escort premium models are one of the better detectors.
