Eufy is becoming the standard in wireless video surveillance faster than any other company in my eyes. I have been slowly switching from using 3 different brands to just Eufy over the past year. If you buy the door bell or the home base unit, you will not need any subscriptions, you can store all of it locally, super easy, super fast. I am also able to setup the Eufy camera to save all to my Plex server using upnp and the ip address, it is super slick. The SoloCam s340 2k Dual Lense is crazy how it works, getting a full picture and zoomed in picture or video right underneath, catching plates and faces much easier. The active AI Tracking is my favorite feature, following the people or vehicle until it is absolutely out of frame then returns back to its middle home position. The speed of the camera following objects in motion is very fast and smooth, but I have not had it in under 35 degree weather or snow/ice conditions. Picture quality is amazing for a 2K camera, you can zoom in pretty well and still see most of what you need and read plates 75 ft away with ease, probably farther. Daytime the camera quality is top notch, I have zero complaints on any Eufy cameras with how good their sensors are and the software does a great job with lighting and exposure to ensure you can see even in the brightest times of the day. Night time is very nice, I use the color but black and white does reach farther. I also let the flood light turn on if needed, let it rip, it is bright and helps a good 25 to 35 feet away, beyond that it really does not help much. The pan/tilt and zoom features of the camera is greatly appreciated with the tracking and setting the camera's zones, making sure all your video is level, clear and smooth when moving, it is really good, I am buying another today actually, I love this camera that much, at some point I will have one on every corner of my home and the other Eufy cameras will be used on my garage and back yard. The solar charging works and works wonders, keeping the camera above 80% at all times, mine is always active, so it gets used and I live in a very active area. Mounting is stupid easy with 3 screws for the camera and 2 more for the solar panel, but that depends on if you remotely mount the solar panel or mount it to the camera, there are 2 different sets of screws. I have mine mounted right to the camera and used the short water sealed charging cable, a loger one is included so you can mount it way above to catch more rays if you need to get around an overhang or tree. The Eufy android app and computer software work great, I do not have Apple products but all my Android devices worth flawlessly with the Eufy app. I highly recommend the SoloCam S340, this should be a product of the year in the video home surveillance category.

Review of Eufy SoloCam S340 The SoloCam S340 is a compact version compared to Dufy floodlight versions. Its camera makes unique with charging mode in battery or solar mode. On the camera: 1. It has 3k wide angle lens 2. 135 degrees Field view 3. Large f/1.6 Aperture 4. 8X Hybrid Zoom 5. 2K Telephoto Lens 6. Day and Night capture image Power: 1. 2 Hours of Solar Charging gives All-Day Power. From its specification, it use a called SolarPlus that makes charging possible under low light and optimization. Weather Condition 1. -4F to 140F operating temperature 2. All Weather Resistant Above specifications are the most to remark as uniqueness to the camera. On the installation note, it is simple, a matter of selection of where and how to place. It comes with accessories to make easy for basic installation. It includes camera holding short arm, a holder for the solar panel. And long cable (usb-c to usb-c) to connect between solar panel and the camera. Additional charging cable usb-a to usb-c. The connecting cable between solar panel and the camera are two part, in which plugins those, it has rubber based material that covers the join. Adding to the Eufy Application require the normal connectivity instruction to WiFI, setting up the application and camera among some of task to complete to have the camera up and running. As rest of other devices, the process is simple without any major steps that complicate it. Now, from the app, the view of camera shows quite impressive view, and easy to control. For having two camera, on the application appears the screen divided in two horizontally. On he top for far view, and bottom the closer look up. Now as rest of Eufy Camera, the tracking is a bit challenge. For setting to track only human, where there is tree and high wind, it still considers human in movement. Aside of this detail, having multiple cameras it place in one screen the activities from multiple camera following the time line. This is quite good feature as user don’t have to switch from device to device to see respective activities. (Cross Camera Tracking as per Eufy’s and require HomeBase S380) Also, it has guardian light that act as spotlight that makes the S340 quite comprehensive security solution for its size. What does well: 1. The camera feature and high resolution 2. Integrated charging mode via Solar panel 3. Good control via App 4. Alternative power via Battery that last 3 months for Stand Alone usage. 5. Feature for Band Tilt (Horizontal 360, Vertical 70) Wish it does better: 1. Recognizing human vs auto vs tree movement. Living in high wind area, the movement of trees and plants are detected as human or auto and as result creates many alerts that are false alerts. 2. The USB-C port on back of the camera looks as it will not resist the water as it leave open air the connection. For fairness, it does fit securely and the material covering the connector are made of rubber alike material.

Picked this up to keep watch on our house, I was blown away by the quality and ease of set up. This camera also will track motion when it senses it. No need to manually track the person or cars. Solar powered and have had no issues with the battery staying charged.

I am a fan of Eufy products for their wireless capabilities and long lasting battery. This camera provides 2 great new features, the ability to rotate the camera and the solar panel. With the camera rotation you can point the camera wherever you want plus the included movement sensor is able to pick anything that moves day or night. The phone app receives the alerts and provides you with a clip of what is happening. The solar panel helps for not having to worry ever again about recharging your batteries (to be fair I recharged the old eufy cameras every 6-8 months, so is not an issue in itself)

I have been using Blink cameras for years. They were slow, the video quality wasn’t great and the battery life varied drastically. I switched to Eufy just recently. This is my third camera. The solar panel gets sun for a good part of the day and it keeps the camera at full charge. I’ve never seen it lower than 99%. I did fully charge it before I put it up. The setup and install was simple. This one is in my backyard and picks up an area of 50 feet by 50 feet with no problem. I get dozens and dozens of video clips when I go out on the back patio or the dog goes out in the yard and the camera stays fully charged. Like any solar panel, you should keep it clean. A quick wipe every couple months should do the trick. The video quality is excellent compared to Blink. The camera follows humans and pets moving throughout the yard. Some of the Eufy cameras are 4K but this one is limited to 3K. It’s still great quality but I wish they were all 4K. I did add the home controller with a 1TB hard drive. It can handle hundreds of video clips and stores them forever at no charge. You can save the video clips to your home computer as a backup if necessary. Eufy is supposed to be coming out with even better video quality cameras but I believe they are going to have to be hard wired. I have one of their current hard wired cameras with the security lights on the front of my house and it’s even better 4K quality but it requires a junction box or the ability to wire a cord to plug it in.

Love these cameras. Didnt want the hassle of wiring up cameras and running wire, these were a perfect match. Plug and play basically. They identify ANY motuon and follow it, color night vision of you want it, and the small solar panels keep the battery charged. Perfect camera for what i was looking for.

Very easy to set up and install. I like the solar panel as I never worry about the battery again! The solar panel can be separately installed to ensure the best watch to the sunshine. I also love its 360 degree scope and it can track the motion of human being!

Its really good has good motion detection and good night vision as well but looses clarity at certain distances but besides that has been an overall good camera system!!

I bought two Eufy Solocam S340 wireless security cameras for my front and backyard, and I’m impressed. The installation was straightforward, and the video quality is crystal clear, even at night. Motion detection works perfectly, and the two-way audio feature is a nice touch. The battery life is long-lasting (the sun charges it), and I feel secure knowing I can monitor everything from my phone. A solid, reliable choice for home security—highly recommend! I love eufy products!

They work awesome i was going to buy 8 total to get my whole front and back yard and i only need 2 thanks to the 360 and you can hear really clearly and the motion detection great it alerts me as soon as someone enters my front yard and i have a decent size front yard i really recommend if your looking to buy your 1st or up grade and almost forgot the solar its great not having to be changing batteries.

Super easy to install. Charges quickly. Works well and provides peace of mind. Easy to navigate and saves to your phone album. Great night and color resolution. Highly recommend.

So far i have Zero complaints about ny Eufy system. I have 2 stationary cameras and 2 360° cameras for my setup attached to my homebase for storage. Video quality and notification response is great. Only negative for it would be not recording 24/7 but it picks up motion and records very well so it has made up for not recording at all times

The camera is clear and easy to install, simple to use however the Wi-Fi reception could be better. It does freeze from time to time on playback and during evening it will run out of power due to low battery.

very good streaming quality, the night time and led feature work great in low light situations. The quality of the video stream is a big plus and the battery does not have trouble with the solar feature.

Really like these cameras they are solar and are easy to use. The best part is they are solar. No taking down to charge all the time.

easy installation and set-up. got this for my daughter and she loves it. complete coverage of the front and side views of the house and neighbour hood. excellent value and quality!

This was great but it did take longer to sync to my WiFi n I had a computer person installing for me so that is why it does not get a five star Picture great but unless it is on your home it has a bit of a less than clarity of picture on my tree but that is where I need it

Ordered the S380 with 2 s340 cameras. And ordered a 3rd. Cameras work great , easy to install
