Don't waste your money

We charged it according to instructions and it will no longer maintain a charge longer than an hour. Very disappointing.

1) If you have enabled the Auto-lock function?
2) Please tell us more details about your daily usage scenario, such as do you keep the door open for more than 3 minutes after opening it; how many times per day of this?
3) The number of times per day to open and close the lock.
4) How long does it take for the smart lock to run out of the battery?

Steps: Menu>Lock settings> About>Model No (press it 5 times)> Start Logging (during this step, it will ask you to operate your lock to reproduce the issue, please wait for 1 or 2 minutes and then go to the next step) >Stop and Send Log.

Great lock!! Super easy to install

It took less than 30 minutes to install and that was with having to take out some space for the kick plate on the door frame (We used the reinforced one that comes with it). Setting it up on the phone was very easy as well. It works great with home assistants (Google and Alexa). You can set it up to play sounds or music for when the door is locked or unlocked. You can set it up to automatically lock after it has been unlocked. Again it's super easy to use the instructions are great, the boxes are set up in steps for when you open the package.

Perfect lock, almost perfect software.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box, it appears that you can "plug and play" this lock in place of your old one. For some people this may be the case. But unfortunately my door had an old lock without the tumbler piece with the 2 screws. My old one mounted flush so I had to carve out some of my door to fit the new deadbolt tumbler. This was just for me and most people will have this ready to go for them. This held me up for quite some time since I don't have great tools for chiseling this piece. Once it was installed I was ready to power it up and set it up with the app. I already had the Eufy app since I have a camera floodlight, so all I had to do is select "add device". It identifies the lock, you connect it to your wi-fi, then select a key code. That's it. I was honestly blown away by how easy it was to use. It did not run into any issues on setup, usually there is some type of hiccup, but not this time. I love the Eufy app and how easy it is to use. I then setup some guest codes for my friend and a few family members that I allow access to my house. You can also setup temporary codes in case you have someone stopping by to do work or something. It will only work for a designated period of time. This is also good for housekeepers and things like that. I then connected it to my Alexa after discovering it, and that was super easy to do. I can now just say "Alexa, lock the front door" and it locks it. I love it. The only down side is that the notifications are either on or off. I have seen some other brand's software enable where you only get notification alerts when one of you guest codes is used. You cannot do that with this app, you can only get alerts when the door is opened and closed, period. It does however keep track of all activity. So if someone uses their code you can see when they did it in your activity history. The buttons are rubber, not touch screen and that is very nice. The buttons feel very nice and it is very smooth. You have to hold the lock button for like 3 seconds to lock it. You can also choose to have it lock automatically when you close it. I do not recommend that as it will quickly degrade the batteries and frustrate you when you are running in and out of the house for whatever reason, and having to keep unlocking it is very frustrating. It also comes with 6 copies of the keys. You can hide them throughout your yard in case your batteries ever die or it malfunctions I suppose. Overall I highly recommend this smart lock since it has great features, is easy to use, and works perfectly.

Sleek and Quiet

This lock is sleek and quiet and comes with special high security keys. It was easy to install and the batteries are conveniently accessible. It paired in seconds with my existing Eufy hub and app. The beeps from the keypad are quiet as well as the motor of the locking mechanism. My only complaint is that you have to press and hold the lock button from the exterior to get it to lock instead of a single short press.

Issue with Battery

Very simple install, very reliable operation

This review will not be very long because everything was so simple and just works well. The lock requires a standard deadbolt hole in the door, so if your door does not have an existing deadbolt you will need to add that to the door, which is an easy thing to do with the right tools. The Eufy lock comes very well package with clearly marked individual boxes with the various parts needed for installation. The numbered boxes correspond with the numbered steps in the instructions, which are also very clear and easy to follow. Installation couldn't be more simple. Where these types of products often fall short is the mobile phone app functionality and ease of wireless setup. This is no problem at all with the Eufy Solo Smart Lock. The app is easy to use and the wifi setup was simple and just works. Within a matter of minutes of physically installing the lock I had all the various unlock codes programmed in and everything working great. I highly recommend this wifi Eufy Solo Smart Lock

I had been wanting to install a smart lock device like this for some time now. We were doing a bit of remodeling around our home and decided to finally have a smart lock device. I came across the eufy - Solo Smart Lock and went for it. To start, the eufy - Solo Smart Lock really feels like a quality piece that it built to last! One of my main concerns with adding something like this was the installation and getting things aligned and working. Well, the installation was not all that bad. It was actually pretty simple and I was able to get the lock installed and running in no-time. It was really easy to connect the device to my home's wifi and Google home device. I love the ability to control my home's locks with my voice and from anywhere. I would definitely recommend the eufy - Solo Smart Lock to anyone!

Poor execution of a wireless lock

I even put a wireless extender right next to the door and it wouldn't maintain the connection. I returned it because the main feature I wanted.

Install was scheduled October 14th. The technician never showed. I have no idea whether the product works. Nor do I know where it is.
