This is nearly a perfect game. It has a great story, interesting characters, a memorable villain, loads to explore, many fun ways to defeat your enemies, and a decent length campaign. It is beautiful; I still get taken aback by the awe and majesty of the landscapes. The only downside is eagles. That's it. Amazing game, but the eagles can die in a fire, as far as I am concerned.

Great game, newer on the market. I bought it due to the price. I liked the past ones, and was not going to spend $60 on this one though. $20? SOLD.

Game play is great and the interaction with the non playable characters is great. Game is long which also makes it worth the money you spend on it.

If you make a sequel to a game, you gotta out-do the entry before it... Farcry 3 is insanely better. That game grabs you in and makes you want to continue the fight against the antagonist. In Farcry 4 you BARELY see the antagonist, making going up against him seem meaningless. You gotta show how evil he is more than one time in this long game to keep me want to keep going throughout... Especially when you have Troy Baker providing the antagonist's voice-overs throughout. Use that talent! My biggest complaint is that when you're given the option to make choices for yourself based on what mission you decide to tackle over another, you always make a character mad. You're never completely rewarded for your efforts to help out these characters. Instead, you make one mad and make on angry, and that's frustrating when really you want to side with both characters, even though your opinions may differ. The world you're put in is beautiful and there's plenty of customization options available to places to go explore on the map. The graphics are insanely good, except for when you approach a character's face. The protagonist is dull and seems lifeless. The DLC is a rip-off and doesn't make the game a bit better. Valley of the Yetis sounds super cool... IT'S NOT!

By far the best entry in the series so far, incredible action start to finish would highly recommend getting the season pass or complete edition

The ambient and emergent gameplay is fun, shooting stuff is fun, using the different tools and vehicles is fun. Controls are tight and responsive.

The game is pretty much far cry 3 with some improvements and more of the same but if you loved far cry 3 like I did, you'll absolutely love far cry 4!

Far Cry is a beautiful and exiting FPS with plenty of missions, tasks and collectibles to keep one busy for hours on end. Definitely recommend.

Its a good game i bought it for my son but i ended up playing the game and i enjoyed it alot .this was the first time i played a game in this series and now i want to play the rest of them.

I have Driveclub, Forza Horizon 2, & The Evil Within to finish. I have still yet to even really start either Sunset Overdrive or Bayonetta 2. I also have GTA V from GameFly (although I have already beat it on the PS3, so does not really count). All of those games are my current backlog, and I pretty much just want to play Far Cry 4. That should say a whole lot right there. Think I am on Mission 9 of the campaign, with 4 hours 30 minutes of play time, and I do not have that much to say or offer other than it is incredibly fun to play. I feel like I have barely done the campaign. Pretty much been obsessed with hunting with the bow. Which let me just say, once you unlock the ability to ride an elephant, hunting larger game becomes much easier. Really just a very good game. Just so much to do and the world itself is fantastic. And I really am just scratching the surface. Total sleeper hit for myself as I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I am. Especially with the whole AC:Unity fiasco and not really having all that much faith in Ubisoft. However they have absolutely delivered with this game. I will say I did skip playing Far Cry 3, so perhaps that adds to my enjoyment, as I have read some comments claiming it is just like 3. Since I did not play it, this is a new experience so to speak. Really enjoying it tremendously so far.

this was my favorite so far on the ps4 the graphics and gameplay are top notch. the only reason i traded it is because i got the platinum trophy.

I didn't think I would like this game, but I was wrong! Great game tons of fun. Huge open world environment lots to do. GET THIS GAME NOW!!

I like the story and it geared for people to play at their own pace. I work 12 hours a day so I can't spend hours on end playing online games.

If you played Far Cry 3, it plays a lot like that gameplay wise. This being on PS4 makes the game so much more beautiful and larger. The story I feel isnt quite as good as in Far Cry 3 but its still one worth playing as I would play it again. The best part of the game to me was exploring and finding cool ways to invade the bases. The multiplayer/coop section of the game I can't review as much since I played the game mostly by myself.

So much to say about this game. I love the gameplay and graphics and I've always been a fan of all the Far Cry games so far. Just get it!!

Played the game for 40 hours now and I can truly say that this is one of the best games I've ever played. This is a "must buy" to all gamers!

This is a great game. Better than the 3rd but the tower capturing still get boring after a while. If you liked Far Cry 3 and find this on sale it's definitely still worth $40-$50.

So, while this game has been out for a while, I just purchased it because it was $5. And for that amount, you get so much fun out of it!

This game improves in every way over far cry 3. This is a must buy
