Fire Emblem Birthright is a great addition to the Fire Emblem series and with DLC to purchase Conquest and Revelation, it is a great game for any person who likes strategy games.

This game is a lot of fun, and evendors a little addicting. I didn't think I would enjoy the castle aspect, but it's nice to have a break between battles in a home area. For someone like me, who isn't good at strategy but still enjoys the story, Phoenix mode is a life saver (fallen units come back at the beginning of your next turn). I had been on the fence about the game until I found out about Phoenix mode.

At first I thought tactical role playing games weren't my type of game I would play but because of the popularity of the Fire Emblem series I thought it might be a fun game and it REALLY is a fun game. The game is all about tactical and strategic use. The story line is good and I actually bought the 3rd version REVELATIONS on the Eshop for a different story line and a good ending.

I always mentioned fire emblem awakening to my sister, and she had always wanted to play it. When I decided to upgrade my 3ds to a 3ds xL, I passed my previous 3ds to her and bought her this game. She loved it! I read that Birthright is best for those that have never played a fire emblem game, while conquest is for those that have and want a challenge; hence, why I got this version.

This version of Fire Emblem Fates is recommended for beginners, but it still has challenge made for veterans. I suggest playing this version before Conquest

I loved Fire Emblem since it came out on the GBA. This game doesn't dissapoint despite certain features being removed. I loved it and will keep loving it.

I hope most people would know what to expect out of this game before purchasing it. While I've never played a Fire Emblem game before this one, I was familiar with the series and understood what it was. Birthright is the easier of the two physical games (there's a 3rd one that's digital only) and has a more Japanese/Bushido theme than Conquest, which is more European.

I foolishly started a side mission and only have one save - at the start of the mission and it's been rough. I like the gameplay options that are available, but one wrong move and it hurts. Otherwise, playing around with characters' relationships has been fun. Exploring other players castles is amusing, especially since you can get extra resources that may not be available for you currently. I'm very interested in trying Conquest and Revelations at some point.

I liked Awakening, but it had balancing issues. Birthright fixes most of those issues while building on Awakening's promising framework.
