Good sound, Great construction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Fostex - Volume Controller to use with a laptop as an external DAC and volume controller. It was on clearance at Best Buy and the price was right at $25, so I really have no complaints. The build quality is top notch and has a good sized volume control knob. It sits very stable on my desk. The sound quality is on par with CD's which are also 16-bit. The only drawback is if you intend to use it with higher bit depth music. Other than that, it is a great product.
