The SONOS system throughout the house, with its easy control from our iPhones, is convenient, accurate and fun. The living room stereo setup with my Macintosh equipment and Polk towers is clear and powerful. The family TV system has equally clear sound. The new HD TV setup with sound bar in the bedroom has a great picture and great quality sound as well. The Geek Squad team was thorough and efficient installing, checking and explaining. Thanks to team leader Troy for all his hard work and especially for handling all the details so that the end result was even more than we ever expected.

I had an in home consultation on improving my home theater. It was about 10 years old so I was not really seeing the HD programming of today at its best. Received great information on what's out there for me and began upgrading my system (all through BestBuy, of course!) Started with Blu-ray player, receiver and Harmony remote. Planning on installing a 4k projector in the near future. (want to see a commitment from DTV in that direction before I purchase.) My installer, Jeff Allenbaugh, was outstanding! he got it all running perfectly and trained me on all of the equipment. Super nice guy, very sharp!

Geek Squad members were able to help me develop a reasonable plan to upgrade a media room originally constructed in 2003. I now have a realistic solution to convert from projector to flat panel, add 4K BLuRay and a new AV Receiver. The older CD/DVD player and receiver will be assigned to support the house/patio audio system.The Squad also evaluated whether I could use SONOS at this location. Unfortunately, I have inadequate internet speed to support this. I will definitely have the Squad install my Best Buy media purchases as well as relocating the original equipment.

We got the Vizio 70" smart tv The picture is clear and bright and crisp. We love it and would recommend it to anyone. We like all the features and options we are able to select. We also got a Panasonic blue ray player. The Harmony remote 650 with the LED screen in the middle is a great help leading us to the right choices easily. Our installer, Doug, was fantastic. He stayed with us and answered all our questions and made sure that we understood everything before he left. He connected all our components and made sure it all was working properly. Best buy was definitely right place to go for sales and service.

I had to return to Best Buy twice in 24 hours to return faulty equipment. It was incredibly time-consuming and exhausting. Service was good and the home theater installer was very helpful - but the products are suspect - I am not the only one that ends up with equipment that doesn't work. I had a bad power cord with my computer and a monitor that only worked when it was laying on its back.

I honestly didn't know much about home theater systems before my consultation. I had a price range in mind but that's about it. Fortunately, the consultant I met with was very knowledgeable and we spent hours discussing different home theater set-ups that I could consider. He didn't seemed bothered by my many questions and he did a great job of helping me understand the options that were available to me. He wasn't pushy in any way and he always treated me with respect. I felt like he genuinely cared about my needs as well as getting me the best value for my money. I was thoroughly impressed!

Chris LeePow and his colleague were thoughtful and thorough in the installation of our television, move of our existing tv to another room and set up of our a/v systems. Each decision made was carefully considered and the execution seems to be excellent. Further, they handled the fact that the TV purchased was damaged (broken screen) during the manufacturing process as well as possible--if anything, they were more disappointed about the situation than me--and arranged to install a replacement unit as soon as it could be delivered from the warehouse.

The Geek Squad (Tom,Andrew,Trevor) not only scoped out the project before the planned install date but reviewed all aspects with me before beginning any of the work. Once started the "squad" did not stop until the entire project was completed and tested. Then reviewed the work again and made sure I understood the new system completely. Any follow up I needed would be cared for with just a phone call. And of course after a few days I did have some questions and yes--a phone call did resolve my questions. This project was not easy but went off without a hitch---thanks to all involved.

We had a terrific experience purchasing our home entertainment equipment. The folks at Best Buy sales were patient and professional. We had Magnolia visit our home to help us decide which equipment to purchase. The Magnolia rep was very professional and we're extremely excited about the choices we made with the rep's help. The Geek Squad installers were awesome as well. They were quick with their installation, wore protection over their shoes, and made sure I knew how everything worked before leaving. The whole process was very professional. Great job all the way around!

Both consultation and installation by two different Geek Squad team members was outstanding. The consultant did not oversell me based on the current equipment I had and the room the home theater was going into. The two man installation team were professional in the the installation of my new system, the explanation of all the components and in the clean up. They also called in advance to assure we had a 30 minute window when they would arrive. This is the second time I have used the Geek Squad and would use them again and also recommend to others.

Geek squad set up a home theater system including a Pioneer Receiver, Bowen Wilkens speakers, Samsung 4K TV, Logitech Universal Remote, and Samsung Blue Ran in my family room, mounted an existing Samsung tv and new Definitive sound bar system in my living room, and instailing Netgear Knighthawik Wifi Router. They came on time, were knowledgeable, and clean. This was a pretty big job, they were in my house approx 6 hours (until 5:30pm), and then left abruptly without fully explaining how to work everything / ensuring everything was set up properly. I called Best Buy to let them know, and they were very responsive. They will be coming back to my house to finish the job including - setting up my Pioneer Receiver for Wifi (they were missing a part), ensuring surround sound is set up properly, connecting radio, fixing Universal Remote set up / giving info so I can maintain, setting up Definitive Sound Bar for wifi / use with Iphone / Ipad.. Assuming all is set up on their second visit, I would recommend. Wish me luck.

The installers arrived as scheduled and they explained what they needed to do and how they were going to proceed. My questions were expertly answered. They went over the features of my home theater and how the universal remote worked. They put on shoe covers and cleaned up all the product debris before they left. Having the Geek Squad install my home theater was the best decision for me. I don't have to be concerned as to whether it was done properly. I had a question the next day that was quickly answered. I am glad I used their services; I'd use them again.

Install was great accept for initial conseltation. Best buy rep came out and told me what projector would work for where i wanted to mount it. On day of insallation install was a no go because projectoelr wouldnt work from distance of set up.so i had to send it back and get a new one. Nit what i was hoping for. No money off no gift card, sorry about your luck!

We are renovating a condo, with a lot of construction. We needed to figure out wiring, wireless options, locations of accessories, etc. for home theatre,, satellite TV locations. The System Designer was on-time and very helpful. Understood our goals, clearly explained options, We later met in a Best Buy Store to see the various products. He developed a written plan which he emailed shortly after visit. My wife and I found it very worthwhile, and we will select among the various recommendations as we near completion. VERY positive experience.

A very helpful associate, Daniel ?, walked through my house and looked at my in-home router and Wi-Fi set-up. My router and my blu-ray player are on opposite ends of my house and the Wi-Fi signal was too weak to make a substantial wireless connection. I wanted a hardwired connection that would have required going through my attic. Daniel explained that the Geek Squad did not do attic work, but he referred me to a company that did. He was very helpful in making suggestions. even though they couldn't actually do the work I was needing.

This is our first experience with the Geek Squad, as they were installing a surround sound system in our home. The 2 gentlemen were prompt, courteous, cleaned up all messes, wore shoe covers (which means a lot to us because we have hardwood floors), and showed my husband and I every feature on the remote. They were also not there for an extended amount of time--performed the job and were gone. I would definitely recommend them for your installation needs. We have been very pleased with the whole process.

The installer ran into quite a few different problems in configuring my current TV and current music libraries with the new Apple TV and Sonos systems but worked through each of the problems and got the system working. One part was missing, and he did not fully tune the Sonos system, so those items prevent me from giving this service 5 stars.

The installation and the consultation were great. The service from the 800 number for the Geek Squad is Awful. Got passed around and around with no real help. The scheduled us for a tech to come to the house. We waited ALL MORNING LONG!!! No one came. Got the run around when I called again. Found out WE WERE NEVER PUT ON THE SCHEDULE. We were told the phone service that takes care of the Geek Squad is an outside party. They need a serious overhaul in customer service and doing things correctly.

The 4K is only found with blue ray or movie/video shot with a 4K camera. The resolution you receive with regular television is 1080 and the majority of cable channels. You buy the 4K television in hope 4K resolution will come out sooner than later. Blue ray does have 4K movies to see. The tv is easy to setup and customize to your liking.

I had great service in my home, the Geek Squad sent an email with the recommendation, I replied and I am still waiting for a follow up. I needed to have them order some pieces, but as stated they never got back to me. I spend a great deal of money with your company and think your service could do with some updates.
