Hands down best lock I have Owned. August Locks are Useless. I would buy another one of these over an August any day of the week.

The lock is easy to install and connect, unfortunately it stopped working within 2 days. the Company's support is off during the weekend and took them 10 days to come back to me due to system issues and difficulties to access their support emails during the period. I returned the product. Too bad, it looked good, worked with Apple Homekit, was working well while it worked and fitted my door.

I bought this on sale for $50 and that was way too much after a couple months of used, I feel really bad for anyone that paid $250, the lock is a deadbolt that I used HomeKit to work it and if there’s any issue your just back to a regular deadbolt and believe me it’s more times just a $20 deadbolt than a $250 smart lock, the Friday app is garbage just read the reviews on it, the last update they did was 7 months ago. I email them and will update you later on there response

Pros: Lock is very easy to set up. Works as expected when the link (blue tooth connectivity) is established Cons: I was able to connect to the bluetooth and wifi on my 3rd or 4th attempt. For large houses, you might not establish the link with the smart lock to operate when you are far from the lock.

I used to use the August lock, but continuously had issues with the locket getting jammed. I had a wedge deadbolt so there should not have been any issues with the cylinder not lining up with the hole. It seemed as if that life did not have enough torque to fully close the deadbolt. I have used the Friday lock now for about 6 weeks, and have had no issues at all! This lock also works seamlessly with Apple homekit, and so does the original deadbolt that I have as well (yes, I have to deadbolt on my front door). Now, I just tell Siri to lock or unlock the front door: absolutely hands-free!

I'm still trying it out. It was kind of easy to install but not sure about all the features. I'm thinking of getting a different brand to see if it makes a difference

I purchased the lock because it works with homekit. Pros: 1. Very stable compared to my kevo 2. Lock updatesquickly after i change the lock/unlock 3. Looks good 4. Easy to install Cons: 1. Looks good and easy to install except i couldn’t tighten the cover all the way because it wouldn’t rotate smoothly. So it’s clipped only on the top side. 2. Homekit took a while to setup correctly. It was recognized and added to homekit fine but didn’t calibrate well. I had to restart the app.

If these auto locks did what they said they could...they would be awsome. BUT they DO NOT. Purchased three, but only put one on to see how it went. Well after a couple of weeks, it still would not auto lock half the time or auto open at all Very disappointing, I wanted these to work so bad...maybe down the road they can get them to work

Bought this on sale for $50. I thought I was getting a great deal, but quickly found out it wasn’t worth it. After fully charging the battery and following the directions to install the lock didn’t have enough power to turn. Looks nice, but that’s the extent of the lock.

Easy to install and works great really like the look

From an aesthetic perspective, I think this is the best smart lock on the market. As for the smart portion it might be the dumbest. Initially it worked with some regularity but then it started glitching so that I would press unlock and you would hear it but it wouldn't actually open. At this point in time it doesn't work at all, stating I need to recalibrate after just recalibrating. In the ads it showed the lock automatically locking the door when you leave; this feature never worked. On top of it simple not delivering on the most basic of functions, the ads are a bit misleading as most of the functionality is not available without apple homekit. I hope they update the software to fix these glitches because the design is spot on and I don't want to switch to a clunkier design.

I thought this would work over home wifi, it does not. It is very limited on range and when in range sometimes does not work. I would return it but had to purchase a new dead bolt to go with it so not worth the hassle of returning it.

Very average product difficult to use so I would not recommend it unless you are techy.

Not the greatest but I like that is Siri compatible, wish it will work with other devices

Works good but not super reliable with apple HomeKit

The iOS App does not -tried contacting Friday, they said their servers on down and do not have an ETA. Without the App working, this is just regular lock.....

Don't waste your money on this! Had it working for a short amount of time - would be incredible if it actually worked. Not reliable.

Looks good but not worth the money. Using it as a regular dead bolt. Works for a day or so then keeps jamming and have to reset it

Received today and installed without issue. Seems like a lot of the negative reviews (surprise surprise) were from Apple users. I have an android and so far so good. Simple install and works great.

Tried to program it with a Samsung phone. Did not work. Had to return the phone.
