The idea of having a smart enabled AC is awesome. So I got myself this 8K BTU smart air con. I've had it for a year now, and so far it is decent use. The app is slow to load and takes around 2 seconds for each button press to update on the AC with a single "beep" noise coming from it. Otherwise, it does the job and controlling it remotely whenever I want my room to be cool by the time I get home or setting a timer on it after I leave the house to cool down my bunny's play area is a nice little touch. The scheduling is a bit of a fuss since once you set it, the AC will keep following the schedule even if you reset it on the app. So you'd have to hold the pressure sensitive touchscreen reset button on the AC to set it to factory default to clear the schedule entirely. Cleaning is amazingly easy and fun. Magnetic filter pops right off the front of the AC with a gentle pull from the sides. The effectiveness is great. What I dislike the most is the high decibel this thing rattles out on low speed. Around medium it's a little better and at high it's much better. A little louder than usual but the rattles is gone. I've done some research and found out that the water build up inside is being hit by the fan so drilling a hole behind the AC should do the trick but it'll degrade it over time quickly so I avoided that and kept the noise. There's a air purifier mode that cleans up any smell in my room and freshens the air. Not an excellent product but it has ways to go. Would recommend. 8.5/10

Cools a room larger than 350 sqft If it Is stabilized well AC unit is very quiet

This is a very good quality unit for a very reasonable price. Efficiently cools a 350 square foot area. Unit is reasonably Quentin while running, even at the high fan speed. I would readily recommend this unit to a friend.

bought this as my 220v went out, it is currently cooling my living room and kitchen, does great for living room, keeps the kitchen at least from being sweltering hot from cooking and such but not super cold in there, it blows pretty quiet, but i notice that the fan doesnt blow super hard even on high max, i have the same one in bedroom i bought years ago and for some reason it has better blowing power on it, it is doing its job though in this heat, would probably work best in a large bedroom or living room but not really for multiple rooms as i am

Cools a large size bedroom and is easy to use. Very efficient. Installation was easy.

Perfect AC for a one bedroom apartment. This AC can be cool enough for just the bedroom, or adjust to cool the entire apartment really fast if I let my bedroom door open wide(turn the apt into a studio). The apt gets really hot with the skylight, but this AC got rid of that problem. Good size, not too big.

This is a nice A/C and it was delivered promptly. Best Buy did stand behind the price match guarantee when the price went down and credited my account for the difference. Now, we will just have to wait and see how well it works when it gets very hot outside. I would have liked a remote, but, can't have it all I guess.

I read all the reviews on this and other a/c units for my bedroom. I've had it installed now for about a month and I must say, it's one of the quietest a/C's I've ever had (I know all units make some noise) & it's so cold sometimes-I turn it down. (I've never done that with any other a/c unit. Oh yeah and free 2 day shipping to my house? Yup-I would buy it again!

Easy to install and cools a 250 sq. ft. bedroom well. Noise level is too high for running it while sleeping but use to cool the room before turning in is great. No fancy electronics just a basic unit that does the job.

The ac is good. It runs well. The only thing is water tends to collect under ac and drip inside my apartment.

Would highly recommend if you need a window air conditioner to cool down quickly with little noise.

Bought this right before a heat wave in NYC. I have it in my living room and it keeps the whole area really cool. The price was perfect as well.
