||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was excited about getting a new AC, decided to get one a little bit more expensive and had a lot more BTUs than the 5000BTU one ive been using in my bedroom and this thing just flat out doesnt perform like an 8000 BTU AC should. doesnt blow cold air, eco mode is horrible due to how loud it is, it will wake you up everytime it turns on randomly. it has a temp gauge that only goes down to 60 and will not make a 12 by 12 foot room go any lower than that which is horrible in my opinion. my 8 year old 5000 BTU AC blows colder air and will drop the temperature in my bedroom far quicker and better than this waste of money. honestly disappointed and plan on taking it back

Posted .Hi Rick! We hate that you are not enjoying your purchase. Based on the information provided, the air conditioner may be too large for the area. Selecting the correct sized air conditioner for the room’s square footage is essential for efficient cooling. For an area of 12 x 12, a 5,000 btu air conditioner would be more effective in cooling the area. When selecting an air conditioner, larger is not always better. Hope this helps! Kindly -CiCi

But I have to say that it does! I love the fact that there is a remote control and eco settings. This is a great buy you will not be disappointed.

Installed this in our bedroom window on the first floor and it has kept our entire first floor in the low 70s even when temps were in the 90s. So happy with the way it has worked I haven’t worried about the central air until this week.

It is smaller in size and lighter to handle. Does a great job cooling the room we put it in. I use it in the economy mode. It runs only when needed. I would recommend this AC unit.

I installed it into a good sized master bedroom and it brought the temperature down from 88 to 75 in about 25-30 minutes.

Frigidaire 8000 btu window air conditioner white

It has been hot theae past summers at my home in Long Beach and so this year I knew I had to buy this. The only thing I didn’t like was finding out my windows up to the left and not up and down. Had to take a trip to Home Depot and made a litte project out of it.
