The Frigidare product has worked well and the remote control can be used as the temperature sensor. We have a Kenmore branded unit that was made by Frigidare in another room and when we could not get another one like it from Sears, we looked at the products from Best Buy and selected this product. We would purchase another one as it has worked well and it was easy to install.
