It was easy to install in window of an upstairs add on room that the central air just didn’t reach.

I purchased this AC in July, I've loved using it. I like the remote and temperature control capability the most.

Worked great out the gate, but less than one year later and it only cools the room to 70 degrees. I'm very disappointed and have to say I expected much better. I installed this unit in our master bedroom window last year and it worked great all summer. It did a fantastic job of keeping not only our bedroom, but the entire south end of the house cool. On the coldest setting, it would get the master bedroom down to 63 degrees even on the hottest days. We'd shut it off overnight and then turn it back on the next day to stay ahead of the heat. This year, the unit doesn't cool near as well, even though we have not been as hot as we were last year. The unit is clean and has been maintained, in a non-smoking household, yet it just won't cool like it used to. Would not buy this one again.
