This is a very good/cheap air conditionner. Cools fast. The only issue is that in order for it to start cooling, I always need to put the knob at almost the maximum level... after it starts, I cannot lower beneath 5-6 (on 7), otherwise the cooling stops (and its 35C outside!)

it give me a lot of space plus my room get cold very quickly.and save me energy.

This window a/c is absolutely perfect for my needs. It was inexpensive. It's small but powerful for it's size AND it's quiet. I have it in my bedroom and I sleep all night without waking up from a/c noise. It keeps my room at a temperature perfect for sleeping. Absolutely LOVE IT!

We had taken down a tree recently and found that our west room was taking a beating from the sun. So we wanted to get an inexpensive yet great working a/c unit for the room to help with the temp. We realised very quickly that we had made a great purchase. What it doesn't have in options, it makes up in price and effectiveness. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to keep a bedroom/den cool!

Does a great job of cooling our 11x11 bedroom. We can literally run it for 3 straight days without it icing up or failing.

Great ac for smaller apartment or a room ......................................................

This was perfect for my son's bedroom. We don't have central air and the AC setup we have for other parts of the house just wasn't quite enough to cool his room.

I was surprised how well it fit in the window frame<(16 inch), of my mobile home. It blows evenly. a bit noisy, the higher you go, with the speeds. Overall, I am happy

My son got it all set up just before 100 degrees weather. I have a Bulldog and she is very happy.

If you are limited on money you can buy this. however if it gets too hot also it cannot keep a very large room cold and you need to stand in front of it when it's hot outside otherwise you won't be keeping cool?So make this air conditioner your second choice, guess it would work well in a kitchen or small room!

Using to keep animals cool in small area where elect is minimal

I bought this because of all the good reviews. Needed a small , inexpensive unit for a small bedroom. Well it's been running for a week now and it still smells like plastic or rubber. Called the 800 number and got no where . We are gonna have to take it back , something is wrong with this unit. Just my luck.

It was not as great as I would like. It is hot, so I didn't want to go through the trouble of taking it back.

Good deal for the $$$ does job ok for small room like my daughters

I bought this to replace another brand that gave out after 2 years. This was easy to install, does a good job of cooling and above all is the quietest a/c I have ever had. I don't like to use a/c in the bedroom because they are usually so noisy but this brand is by far the quietest in this price range. A very good deal. I went back and bought another one (higher BTU) for another room and it is just a quiet.

I purchased this unit a year ago for seasonal cooling and use it about 30 days out of the year, it's a simple window A/C that comes with all the standard features, including a dial thermostat, GFCI plug, and window installation kit. Great for dorm rooms, small bedrooms, or other areas below 200 sq ft. I am surprised Best Buy is asking more than $100 for this unit as it is a good value at $99 or below. The fan will run whenever the unit is on--although it will run low or high, depending on the mode knob's position. The compressor will start and stop to reach the thermostat's setting. I have owned several other units in the past--most more expensive--but when it spends almost 10 months of the year in storage I find the value of a remote control or fancy display has diminished value.

its a very good a/c especially for its price it cooled down the room within minutes of turning it on. it keep my small living room cool and part of my kictchen and bathroom in my small apt. one thing that i do not like about it ts that you have to have the a/c turned on high and atleast on a 6 to 7 speed to keep the room at desired temp. very easy to install to window.
