Customers admire the Gallery 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance. Many appreciate its capacity and sleek design, while some experienced issues with reliability and lengthy cycle times. The control panel and rack design also received mixed feedback. Overall, the dishwasher's positive attributes are frequently highlighted, but potential drawbacks should be considered.

Great Dishwasher

The dishwasher runs relatively quiet, and when it finishes, a green light appears on the floor. Dishes come out clean when using Finish power free dishwashing tabs and completely dry when using Finish Jet Dry (rinse aid). However, plastic tupperware does not come out dry, as a few water droplets generally remain on them. Overall, I highly recommend this dishwasher for its efficiency. It's also a plus that this dishwasher is stylish (as it matches the frigidaire gallery series) and is mostly smudge-proof (except for the handle). In my case, this unit performs very well for its price point of $550.

We bought this model to replace a very similar Fridgidaire that we purchased in 2003. This model looks good, is quiet and does a good job cleaning our dishes. It does not dry the dishes as well as it should, however. I just leave the door cracked open for a few hours after a cycle, which isn't such a big deal, but it prevents me from giving this unit 5 stars.

Great... when it works.

When it works, it washes well. Drying is only OK, but that's expected in an energy-efficient model. The heavy-duty mode is actual reasonably strong. It's quiet. When it works. We bought this 8 months ago, and since then it has broken down twice. Each time, we have to wait weeks for Frigidaire warranty service (We got Geek Squad extended, but that does nothing until manufacturer warranty expires). So out of the 8 months, we've had roughly a month with a pretty metal cabinet in place of a dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher and Happy with Purchase

I checked several websites and went with Best Buy since they offered free shipping and installation at the time of purchase. I've ran the dishwasher a few times so far, and I'm thrilled with it. Barely can hear it running. We replaced a Kenmore Elite dishwasher with this one.

I've had better dishwashers for sure. It's been repaired 4 times in 3 months and am still getting an i20 error code in the middle of the wash. If they don't agree to replace it then I'm going to buy a Bosch.

We bought this along with the matching Gallery Series Stove and side by side fridge freezer and this has performed exceptionally well since day 1.It does a GREAT job of cleaning all of our cookware, pots n pans and cutlery again and again,we use cascade tablets and jetdry and everything comes out squeaky clean,YES the drying cycle takes a good long time BUT everything comes out perfectly clean and we really haven't changed the settings and keep it on normal wash pretty much all the time, the only time we switch it is when we put the filters in from the range hood(they are washable and reuseable) and it cleans them beautifully aswell.I really like the finish and the matching door handle that matches the stove and side by side(kinda an asthetics junkie!!!) the green dot on the floor showing the cycle is complete is a nice touch and figured after a year or so of use I could give very fair assessment of it. To us it was worth every $$$ spent and expect it to last a good while.
Unlike others we haven't had any door leaking issues or grease/food filter issues as noted by others.
We load that puppy up to before running it and it takes a heavy load without problem and never take anything out that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned.
Hope this review helps others narrow down their choice of dishwasher.

Have had the dishwasher 1 year and 3 months. We are on on 2nd major repair. The first took 6 weeks and 4 repair calls. Now dishwasher is broken again. The control panel is shot and the dishwasher will not turn off. Very unreliable. We only run the dishwasher once a day. So it is not overused.

Had this installed, and 8 months later it was not working right. Called the manufacturer and sent a guy out. Said i would need parts and was ordering them. A week later no parts, called the repair company back and told me that the parts are back ordered for a month. Why couldn't someone call me or the repair guy tell me that when he ordered them at my house.

So far the dishwasher has cleaned my dishes very well without having to rinse them too much before putting them in. I have only had it for about a month so I can not say much about durability. I did notice that it has a bad smell after only 2 uses despite it being stainless steel inside but I think this is because we only use it like once a week.

I have owned this dishwasher for 3 years and have already had to repair it twice at a cost of several hundred dollars . First the orbital sprayer at the bottom went bad and whole assembly had to be replaced . Then the touchpad assembly went bad and again replaced .

If you eat peanut butter, rice, ice cream, eggs...or most other foods...this dishwasher isn't for you. Any little amount of food left on the dishes will still be there when the washing cycle is done. The glasses don't come clean either. Twelve hours after the cycle is done; I open the door and everything is still wet. So the few items that got clean have to be dried and the rest have to be hand-washed.

Terrible Dishwasher

This is by far the worst dishwasher we have owned! It replaced a Maytag from the 90s, which was sturdy and cleaned and completely dried the dishes. This dishwasher is flimsy and cheaply made; top rack barely slides in when loaded. DOES NOT DRY THE DISHES. After the cycle, the wash arm under the top rack continues to drip on the dishes below. I am totally disgusted every time I unload it and have to hand dry everything.. Do not buy this dishwasher!

Just called warranty support for the 4th time since we got this dishwasher 5 months ago. When it's working, it does a fine job washing the dishes. Should not have to have warranty work done on a new machine like this.

What a disappointment this dishwasher is. I replaced a dishwasher that ran great for 15 years and the dishes were dry at the end of the cycle. Now the salesman tells me that I'll be lucky to get six years from the new dishwashers. I've run this one twice, with the heated cycle, and waited until the green light appeared, and everything is wet, including my brow after hand drying all the dishes. "Buy USA"? Why, we can't even replicate good products that were previously made well and lasted longer. I'd gladly take back my old machine if I could.

Terrible Product and Service

Bought this dishwasher to match Frigidaire products throughout a newly remodeled kitchen. Within three months of operation, the pump began to leak grease and some amount of water. After a painful month of waiting for parts, Frigidaire replaced under warranty. Of course the replacement part went out as well causing another service call and replacement. The third time, I was informed I was out of warranty and I could pay $200 to have a new pump installed. 14 months after I bought it, I am scrapping it to buy a Non-Electrolux dishwasher. Stay away from this one, it is complete garbage.

I loved the look and the stainless inside but the inside and dishes had a lot of moisture. Looking for a different model that will dry. my last dishwasher (different brand) dried well without using heat cycle.

We purchased the gallery series because we loved the looks and great ratting. WOW we were we for an experience of a life time. The first was delivered and was sooo noisy that it had to go back, the second one leaked from the bottom right corner, the installer spliced the electrical cable and left us with a leaky dishwasher. Nope, we're not done, the third one came in, and you guested it, leaking from the same right bottom corner, this time Fridgedar engineer came in, and could not stop the leak.
Keep reading please, we called Fridgedar and they sent another repair person, now it's been 20 plus days that we are without a working product. The repair person took the the door apart trying to figure out why the appliance was leaking and could not figure it out until I showed him the rubber gasket around the frame was too short... Oh I see.
They wanted to repair a brand new dishwasher, best buy stepped in and said no! They invited us back to pick what ever we wanted and we are now with a Bosh dishwasher and absolutely loving it. Stay away from Fridgedar dishwashers unless you are prepared to deal with the worst customer service and product. We are very happy with the rest of our kitchen appliance upgrade (stove and fridge). Best Buy did every thing to assist us, and we're very accommodating through the process.
