PureSource 2 replacement filter does what it says - replacement for your PureSource 2 refrigerator water filter. It lasts for a long time, makes excellent filtered water and ice in your fridge. I don't like the amount of time/water required to initiate the filter (running your water filter for 5min continuously with sputtering of air is not particularly fun), and for the first day or so, there is definitely a tinge of carbon flavor to the water. But after that, it is perfect

I have used this type of filter for several years since this is what my refrigerator requires. It's not cheap but lasts a long time. I have well water that is good and am not home a lot to use the water from the fridge so the filter lasts me about a year before the light indicates that it is time to change the filter. It filters both the water and ice so both tase great.

Had to purchase a replacement filter for my fridge/ice maker. The employee at my local bestbuy knew exactly what I needed and showed it to me right away. Installation was a simple as snapping it in place. These filters last a long time too, my lat one lasted well over 2 years and for making sure the water is filtered is well worth replacing these

I have been using these filters for 16 years, since I purchased my Refrigerator and have never had an issue with any filter. had the water quality tested a few years ago and the filters are doing there job, its really good water quality. Could be a little cheaper
