Just monitor your usage for a couple of month & you'll probably need one every 2-3 months. Best Buy will ship you a new one on your schedule. What's better than that?

Not a knock-off "replacement" as so many are online. Purchased in store. Less expensive than ordering anyplace I could find online.

Posted .Howard, thank you for sharing your water filter review. All of our water filters need to have the filter system primed and purged of air. It can take upwards of 1.5 minutes to fill the system. There will be noticeable spurts and sputters as the system pushes air through the system and out the dispenser nozzle. Some water dispensers have a safety device that shuts off the water flow after 3 minutes of continuous use. To reset, simply release the dispenser paddle. Priming and flushing the water filter can take up to 4 minutes. You will find more information in your Owner’s Manual under the “changing the water filter” category. *Ruth
