This lens displays sharpness well beyond what one would normally get with a good telephoto zoom. Focusing speed certainly is good enough for most uses (on my Fujifilm X-T10) but not blazingly fast like you find on a few lenses. OIS is very effective, too. I'm impressed with this lens

You cannot believe how sharp this lens is. The OS works great and I can hand hold shots at 1/30 and 200mm. It works great as a portrait lens with the faster aperture then other kit zooms. It really is a well made high performing lens. Great job Fujifilm!

Let me just say that this is a fantastic lens and if this is a focal length you want or need, then Fuji blows the competition away in almost every area.

This lens is great for event photography and taking out into the park for close ups on creatures you wouldn't be able to capture otherwise.

The quality (materials used, finish, smooth operation) of this lens really matches or surpasses other lenses of three times the price. Resolution is very good, sharpness is very good, but I would not describe the color rendition as snappy. I'm an old Fuji Velvia 50 shooter, so my idea of what color should look like when shot through a great lens might be a bit biased, but still, I would like the colors to be attention getting. Considering all the plusses, this might be a "picky" complaint. All in all, it is a very good lens for an excellent camera.

Purchased in anticipation of a Yosemite trip. The lens is great.

After waiting for months with an order with B&H, I cancelled and ordered thru Best Buy. I received my order within a week and am very pleased with the overall experience. The lens is great and produces great images. The stabilization seems to work great also. I am very please with this purchase and would highly recommend the lens. I use it on a X-E1 and find it a little large but really not bad. I have owned many Nikon and Canon lenses and find this to rank with the best.
