I am using this drive for back up and photos. this is the fastest back up and transfer of data I have seen for a portable drive using thunderbolt

These drives are no-nonsense - they just work. That's why I have several of them. My preferred brand of hard-drive.

Love G-Technology for Apple products, for the price it is totally worth it, I can access to it from everywhere (Connected it to my router) and it does not slow down or errors.

It was broken out of the box. Best Buy was great with the return. Suggested I tried it again - I did and it was slower than any other USB drive I've ever owned and very noisy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
