This dash cam has been a life saver. The car in front of me was involved in an accident. It was not that driver’s fault. The driver at fault was the one that failed to stop at a stop sign. Luckily for the driver in front of me, my Garmin dash cam recorded everything. The video helped prove that he was innocent of the accident. Excellent dash cam!!!

works as expected, the features are really easy to use. I owned the older model and upgraded to this new model, worth every penny. great product from Garmin, just make sure the memory card you purchase for this unit is cable of the resolution. Purchasing from Bestbuy's website is always a breeze to work with. I've had this product now for a few months and it works with no problems.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He drives a mustang gt and it is perfect for him. He hide the camera so well that you don't see it. It is a smart camera where it tells you when traffic is moving or makes a noise saying close to collision. It is a nice camera for sports cars where jealous people just want to hit or scratch your car for no reason.

Easy to install but if you have a vehicle with Apple Play or similar you'll have to use the 12V connector instead of a USB port...otherwise the camera will think it's being plugged into a computer and won't boot into "record" mode. Excellent low-light sensitivity. Sharp video in almost all conditions so far. Dashcams are cheap insurance...get one!

Great image, small and easy to use. Phone app works awesome as well.

All in all, pretty happy with this device. The lane departure warning is a little too sensitive for my liking (doesn't love curves), and the forward collision warning is equally questionable, but with those turned off, it's great. Stays out of the way, powers on and off with the power of the vehicle. The app is a little clunky, but I rarely use it. Also be prepared, SD card is required but not included. All in all, happy with my purchase.
