Love the unit...small size, good video, voice commands work....but...had to add the parking cable for 38.18 after tax, and no fuse taps in the box, so 12.00 for taps at the parts store.....$50 extra if you want to use the parking mode, for cables and connectors that other cams include in the box....something it would cost Grmin very little to include....still, once installed, a great unit

Bought this particular unit for the increased resolution over the other models. Voice commands are very helpful, but sometimes are triggered by just random talking that sounds nothing like "Ok Garmin" - which can get annoying.
I bought the "parking" cable as well so I could have Best Buy install it, hide the cable, and never have to worry about charging a battery:
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/garmin-parking-mode-cable-for-garmin-dash-cam-45-and-55-cameras-black/5791504.p?skuId=5791504
By default, it's configured to record in parking mode, which I later found out is a terrible feature. Parking mode videos are counted as "saved" videos and the camera will start erasing your actual saved videos to make room for more parking videos. Parking videos should be classified the same as "unsaved" videos and be the first to be deleted based on oldest age first.
I got a 128GB Samsung EVO card for this and it took about 2 weeks for the card to fill up with the "parking" videos and warn me that it was going to start deleting saved videos to make room.
The two cons being parking videos are classified as saved videos, and the voice commands randomly triggering for things that sound nothing like "Ok Garmin", I've been very pleased with the camera. It's such a small device, that it was easy to conceal in my 2017 Mazda CX-5, which has a rather large footprint taken up by whatever they have mounted to the review mirror (probably a bunch of sensors). I don't ever notice the camera except for when it turns on and off with the car.
My first trip out of Best Buy after having it installed, somebody swerved into my lane, causing me to swerve off the road onto the shoulder for a second, so I'm glad I have it now, and not some cheap Chinese brand like you find on Amazon. I wanted something reliable that I knew would get updates from the manufacturer. Everything I read for reviews indicated that Garmin was responsive to customer issues and actually pushed updates because of their responsiveness, fixing critical bugs. You won't get that kind of support from the cheap brands you find everywhere.
Video quality seems solid, I can make out license plates, and it does well in low light, so not much else you can ask for with video quality. Picture quality isn't as good, but I still find myself trying to save video and pictures of just interesting things when traveling.
