We once used my iPhone on Carplay for navigation when we went on a road trip to Sequioia National Park. Big mistake and we almost weren’t able to get our bearings back. Next trip to Yosemite I brought this along and never had a problem. While we were there, cell reception was really bad we can barely get a signal. This saved the day.

We dont have unlimited data on our cell phone like most people do so we rely on our Garmin. After using a much older model we upgraded to a new one. So much easier to use. I am very happy we bought this.

The GPS gets us to our destination adjusting the time of our arrival based on traffic conditions. It is easily programmed and also helps to find locations of services and such that may be along your journey.

I love this handy little Garmin. it is inexpensive bare bones gps system

The Garmin Drive 52 is an easy-to-use GPS without many bells and whistles, which is what my husband wanted for work. He needs to drive to new locations with only an address. The Drive 52 does not find addresses as fast or as accurately as Google Maps or his earlier Garin GPS. When he nears his final location, more detailed street maps are generated. Internal Device Memory is only 8 Mb. The "Add a Memory Card" message appeared when the initial software and map updates were installed using Garmin Express. I strongly urge users to purchase an SD card if they need to store data.

Bought this item while traveling - our old unit wasn't working. Love the Garmin - been using one for years. Price was excellent and product was everything we expected.

My really old Garmin stranded me after dark in rural Arkansas, thought I heard banjos :o New one has bigger screen, more information but it dings when I speed :o

This is a nice GPS. It doesn't cost too much and it is easy to use.

Replaced my old Garmin GPS with this newer model. Am very pleased with the slightly larger size and the much clearer picture, Several other improvements also.

Purchased to replace the one stolen from my car at the repair shop that they claim was never there, I admit it is my fault the I know better the world is in decline. What can I say its a GPS! electronic map, I am from the days of map reading and having to explain all those little notations on the printed mat to educate others.

It does everything I was looking for. Only wish they would up-date themselves like the phones do. my last garmin lasted me many years.

We recently purchased an older car that did not have a GPS. We spend a lot of time traveling & in Florida and we don’t like getting lost (or asking for directions). This GPS is great - the operating instructions are clear, the screen is large enough to see easily & it provides all the information we need. It even reminds you when the speed limit changes!

purchased this for a recent trip to NY, didn't want to use my little phone, and no gps in my car. Very easy to set up and use. I was sure to plug it in to my computer to get all the updates needed as well. this model came with the suction cup to attach to windshield, and that was helpful as well.

this GPS is great to take on vacation to use in rental cars, rather than pay the extra money for a car with GPS installed. The windshield suction holder works great with it too. I’ve had a Garmin for years and recently just gave my old one to my daughter. The directions That come with it are not adequate but the manual can be downloaded
