I just purchased a 2019 class A motorhome and after watching YouTube videos and reading reviews about this unit, I had no doubt that it was going to do just what I wanted. Although I haven't started on my road trips yet, the first thing I did was download all of the North American maps into the GPS. That took quite a while but the maps are free and so are the updates. I like that I can input the width, weight, length, etc of my motorhome so the GPS will guide me around low hanging bridges and such.

I really like the larger size. The touch screen with cell phone type pinch zoom is really nice. I absolutely love the optional backup cam. My older truck doesn't have one. The newest cam is battery powered. What is disappointing is the subpar precision of tracking - yes I updated first. During my first trial it had me arrive across the 4 lane street to where I should go. Why I think this is sooo disappointing is that my 7 year old car gps system is more precise. This, I completely don't understand. The other major pet peeve that I have against this unit is that with an expensive unit like this one, I really expected that the graphics would be better, sharper than what is shows. It's like they just blew up the picture which is again, significantly subpar when I compare it to my large screen phone. Just because I have a larger unit DOES NOT mean I'm looking at it 7 feet away. It has many great features, but definitely has room to improve.

I use this GPS in my motorhome. In almost 25,000 miles it only let me down twice. Once I had input my length incorrectly and it took me miles out of my way to avoid a tunnel. And once it tried to get me on a road that went from two lane asphalt to one lane to unpaved to goat path that never would have been passable in any RV bigger than a 4x4 Class B. Overall, the GPS is easy to use and easy to shape a route. It has lots of warnings for hills, sharp curves, school zones and speed limit changes. Lots of great features for RVers. I would recommend a secondary tool, like a truckers atlas, but that is true of any GPS. The free lifetime map updates feature is a must have.

The large screen is a plus because you can get so much more information on the screen. Great to know you aren’t going to get stuck in a narrow area or unable to go under a low bridge when traveling in more remote areas.

I like the Garmin GPS. It gives me plenty goof time to move lanes. The GPS give me the next step as well at exit ramps in plenty of time. The screen is large and easy to see. The voice command function is nice as well. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the fact it looses its satconnection every once in a while and cycles through several screens before your directional map reappears. Could’ve a problem as you’re going through heavy traffic, metro areas

Purchased just before leaving on a twenty six day RV trip covering seven states. GPS has great features for the traveler. Elevation feature, gas stations, campgrounds, shopping and grocery stores are excellent. Turn by turn directions with split screen and recreational vehicle access, just about anything need to drive or fifth wheel your way across the USA. Highly recommend.

After intense learning and understanding how to configure the GPS, it works good. I really do not think the Bluetooth is needed since everything else has it. All I really wanted was a GPS not a monitor and handsfree phone. It is a good product for an RVer.

I have this Garmin RV 770 LMT-S in Van, that I am converting into a camper. So far I have just used it locally, but it seems to work well. I really like the size of the screen. I have had one incident where it didn't bring up the business I was looking for, even though it was close by.

I am a Professional Motorcoach Operator with Coach USA - Van Galder based out of Janesville, Wisconsin. I purchased this product by recommendations from senior fellow drivers. It allows for basically straight truck dimensions to be added. Driving mostly MCI J4500 Coaches it has not steered me wrong yet. The incline/decline bar is fantastic for working the mountains of the west. The live weather radar overlay is also well worth the small fee. You can set up your breaks , rest stops for guests. Its overall been flawless and I dont start my coach without it. The voice commands are easy to use so you can be hands free. Outstanding product

The screen is clear and look amazing, its better than most other GPS. Now you might be wondering what this might have over your cell phone well you can put in the size of your RV and it will reroute you from different tunnels and bridges based on clearances. I almost always use my cell phone as a GPS but when im in the RV this is the #1 since i have trying to reroute myself because I dont fit. you can even connect your phone to it to see text messages making my older RV feel like a new car with a touch screen. The only thing I dislike is the stand is sold separately so it took a while to find a place to put it.

While the learning curve is new; figuring out the various features is quite worth the time. It is good to sort out the features before running out with the RV on strange roads. Checking out the features and how they are manipulated before setting out on the open road is sound planning. So far, so good.

The screen on this GPS unit is so clear and easy to see. This unit does just about everything. You can give it verbal commands or do the touch screen. You can make or receive telephone calls with it and talk hands free thru it although the person on the other end cannot hear you as plainly as I would like but everything else about this unit is great. Extremely user friendly! We have had other units - Rand McNally and Magellan but this one beats then both. I highly recommend it.

Needed this to make sure we did not get our truck and 5th wheel in places that are too small or where underpasses are not high enough. Able to Putin exact dimensions of rig. Love it

I bought this for my parents RV. They have used it several times and love it. It easy to use with a large display. You can enter your RV's dimensions which is great for cross country travel as far as tunnel clearance and narrow back roads.

We like the features of this gps. The added instructions for turns are very helpful. Finding stops along the route are easier than other units that we have used in the past. We are looking forward to using the campgrounds feature this summer. The only problem we have had is with using voice commands to find locations. The unit does not always recognize what you are saying and can give you some strange results.

The unit is easy to handle. The features are tremendous, especially the “Garmin Smart Link” that makes me send my routes from my smart phone to the GPS and it also makes me send “Live Track” to someone. The “Say Command” is a magnificent feature, as it allow me to give voice commands to the GPS. The only set back is the USB cord is too short to connect from the GPS to my vehicle’s USB connector.

This unit does everything I need it to do. You are able to add the length, width, height, and weight of your RV. The GPS will then only route you on roads that it knows will fit your RV. It also has a car mode so you can use it with your car and not have to take the RV route. Lots of great features too numerous to mention.

Like the fact that intersections are described and pictured and it gives alerts and can be connected by blue tooth to your smart phone. The built in traffic reports are only given in 4g or strong data areas. We haven’t been able to use it as yet
