Although there are other power supplies that will fit the Garman nav system, they do not seem to work. Getting a spare to keep in another vehicle was needed, and this works perfectly.

We bought this power cord even though we didn't have a garmin unit. It fit our plug in and keeps our GPS powered for our long trips and short ones too. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a replacement power cord.

My original power supply broke and I've never really trusted aftermarket equipment. This unit is the OEM Garmin power supply designed for Garmin products! Plug & play!

only complaint is that the original garmin power cable is too short to mount on windshield as necessary. tried to get a longer one, and this is longer than the original, but not enough to hide the bulk run under visor,etc. so it hangs down the windshield still. if you don't want cables hanging, this isn't a fix. but works fine

We were able to plug in our GPS with this adapter.

Our family has 3 vehicles and GARMIN 55 has only one cigarette lighter charge plug so I bought a spare . It is exactly the same model that comes with Garmin 55 purchase. Probably will buy another so the Garmin can easily move from vehicle to vehicle.

It works since it's a Garmin OEM part, no complaints about the functionality. My only issue is that Garmin won't let you use any mini-usb charger for their gps, and instead changes the internal pin out of the USB port (on the gps) in order to keep you from using other mini-usb chargers. But that is more a personal complaint.

Good charger and works well with the Garmin GPS!!!

Purchased this because the unit that I had was having connection problems. The GPS kept going into battery mode. This charger has a nice tight connection and exceeded my expectations.

Our original unit was broken and had tried using several of the off brand plugs - but just never quite charged the Garmin. This one works great - in fact we could use the Garmin almost immediately after plugging it in.

I placed a 3rd vehicle into circulation of driving between my wife and me, and the only brick and mortar store that I could find had it was Best Buy. It has been working just fine since I started using it.

My GPS would not work and I was going to replace it. I decided to give it a try and change the cord instead. I purchased this cord and instantl my GPS began to work beautifully. This cord is a good buy.

Needed to buy this, for my Garmin GPS. Would of bought a new Garmin, if the Vehicle Charger, didn't work. Glad mit did.

his adapter is actually better than the one that came with the GPS. Whereas the original adapter was somewhat flimsy; this one is more durable and the top does not come off in the power outlet. Great buy!!!

I needed a new charger for my Garmin portable GPS that I use in my car, and this was the perfect one.

I am so pleased with this item. I am to recharge my Gps item in my car and not worry about not having use of the directions when I need them.

I purchased this adapter because my original one was broke. I plugged in my Garmin GPS and it worked perfectly. My Garmin does not cut out any more and stays on so it gives the directions I need continually.

I used few chargers and with some of them I don't have a good experience They don't charge and they don't work good after little bit time But this one is still working fine So all good

The Garmin power card works perfectly with the Garmin GPS unit. The original cord was lost. I purchased two other cords before finding the Garmin replacement. Neither cord worked to charge my unit.

It works fine as a replacement for a broken car charger. The only problem is it does not have the sensor in the cord that allows the GPS to receive traffic information. Certain Garmin models with traffic need this sensor to give you info on traffic, and the only replacement chargers I have been able to find are without the sensor.
