I like this watch; however, the screen has gone black on me multiple times already and then doesn't want to work. Battery life is nice compared to my old Apple watch. I wanted to get something different this time in case I would ever switch back to an Android.

I really like this watch and had the vivoactive 4. Some improvements are the sleep functions and display. The only con I noticed is that it lacks a barometric altimeter, so it doesn’t track flights of stairs. That was surprising and a bit disappointing. But overall I still really like it and the Garmin Connect app.

Beautiful watch! It gives you many options to use. You can choose which options you want to use regularly. You can see your sleep patterns and your heart rate average and ofcourse how many steps. I want to buy another one for my daughter

My wife got this for herself, and then it was heavily discounted, and then after the return period ended, I learned of the price match policy. If only, right?
Still a fantastic watch, and even more so at the current price.

We have been Garmin users for years, we love the features on this watch from a middle school high school distance runners perspective. It gives just the amount of data that is needed for us to increase performance, and the watch was easy to use and understand.

I had an older version of the same watch that I loved but I broke it. So i replaced it with a new model and I still love it. Just as good as the last model with a few new features!

Love this Garmin Vivoactive 5. This is my first Garmin after owning at least 6 Fitbits (like a fool). I was tired of replacing the fitbit Charge 4, 5, 6...almost every year(!) and paying a premium membership. The Vivoactive is comfortable, lightweight, gives me all the information I'm looking for, and does so, I think, more accurately than fitbit. Love you can change the watchface to an abundance of choices. The silicone band is super soft. Couple of negatives; it takes a half-second for the screen to wake when glancing at it. It is a bit more sensitive to errant taps. But the biggest let down is the battery life. I'm getting nowhere close to the advertised number of days, and I don't feel I'm overusing it's functions/sensors. I'm only getting about two (2) days before I have to charge it. Still, I highly recommend it. It's just leaps and bounds better than fitbit. AND NO MEMBERSHIP/FEE!!

Love my new watch! My Fitbit died and I needed a replacement. Decided to go Garmin. I am not really an athlete, but I like to track my metrics. This achieved everything I wanted and more. Great value.
