Customers are delighted by the vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch's long battery life, which lasts up to 4 days, and its durability, which is more robust than an Apple Watch. They also appreciate the activity tracking feature and the onboard music storage. While some users wish it was smaller in size, overall, customers are pleased with the watch's screen, GPS tracking, and ease of use.

Very excellent sport/smart watch with a lot of the essentials you need plus more.
The 5-6 day battery life is the best along with the 1-2 hour charge to top it off. Size is perfect, not too small and not as chunky.
Highly recommended.

I've had the watch for over a month now! I've had 4 days of battery life with 1 hour of activity tracking, 9-10 hours of sleep tracking and over 100 notifications per day. I love the app for it's fitness tracking features. It has certain smartwatch features. I wish the connect store was little bit more extensive with regards to smart watch capabilities. I also wish that the watch came with nap tracking. It only detects sleep during the "assigned window". And lastly I wish the Garmin connect app was more intuitive!

Overall happy with this watch, it’s the first I’ve owned. Battery life is great lasting about 6 days. A few minor glitches once in awhile, nothing major that can’t easily be overcome. Seems to be a very good watch for the price point. Still playing with it and trying out different apps.
I haven’t beat it up to hard yet, but it seems durable. It’s taken a few scrapes against concrete walls and haven’t noticed any scratching.

This watch has lots of great features, but the battery life is terrible. I was having to charge the watch every night. And sometimes it wouldn't even last a whole day. We ended up replacing it with a different brand.

This a great watch to have if you’re just getting into the active smartwatch world. The gaming connect app allows you to download different watch faces to truly customize your watch. I switched from a apple watch to the vivoactive. Less distraction but still some of the same features you want from a smartwatch.

I like everything it does so far, haven't taken the time to really look into all it does. I do like the grey color, wish it was a little smaller for my tiny wrist.

Great watch. Really enjoyed it until I decided to go for the Venu 2 which has a more vivid screen. It has all the bells and whistles most would want and then some. It’s a matter of preference when it comes to the screen. Overall if the screen doesn’t come into play no other watch is technically better.

I was looking for an alternative to my Apple watch and thought this was a great deal (it was on sale for $189.99). I really wanted to like this watch but the screen is very dull. It doesn't show a black background where the colors pop like they show in the manufacturer's pictures. It's at best a very washed out gray, regardless of the settings I tried. If the screen is important to you I would recommend looking for something with an AMOLED screen so the blacks are more true and the colors pop better. Otherwise the watch has decent functionality and would be great as a fitness tracker but i wouldn't use it for anything other than that.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We are an Apple family, but my husband doesn't like the look of the Apple Watch. It was easy to pair with an Apple iPhone and seems to be working well thus far.

What good is a fitness device with inaccurate heart bpm? Perhaps most of the other +++++ reviews are paid?
Over the past 10 yrs, this is my 8th and last device from Garmin. A total disappointment with its gross lack of accuracy, hardware failure (within the past 48 hours it froze twice, could only correct it by letting the watch battery drain completely and then recharge it). Software design and options are mediocre, annoying at times and inefficient.
To make matters worse, Garmin’s customer service is an even greater disappointment with its gross lack of professionalism, incompetency and no respect for Garmin patrons (durring all my 12 encounters and 7 hours I’ve wasted with them)!

I had a very basic Garmin for years and am living the new features of this watch. I do miss that there is no date on the main screen and no find my phone feature however. I also think this watch is more accurate with calories.

I was looking for an activity tracker. The Garmin had GPS, cler display, long battery life and a range of fitness activities. Even has NF payment capability. So, after few weeks I can say its working great, seamlessly syncs my data through my phone or iPad
