This microwave is Stainless steel in the front , but top & sides are GREEN. Would be great if that was the color. I'll pass.

I like the feature that the door is locked when the job finished, for safety issue I guess. This could avoid little children open the door and/or create accidents.

Reliable and quick. Will be coming back to repurchase again.
Thanks for reaching out. The child lock feature can be disabled. 1. Press and hold the “7” key for 3-5 seconds or until you hear a beep. Release. 2. Press the “9” key. Release. 3. Press the “0” key. Release. There will be two short beeps, and the display will flash "Unlo" to confirm the default condition has been updated successfully. To re-enable the child resistant oven door, repeat steps 1-3 above. The display will display “Loc” to confirm the feature has been re-enabled.

Evil Microwave screamed at me and kept food

The smallest scuffs are extremely notiable on this microwave. What really got me flabbergasted though was the lock feature that was extremely confusing. I have another microwave I was easily able to turn off the lock on, but this one tried to hold my food captive when I was starving. It took two of us to get the microwave to stop screaming lock at me and release my food. Returned immediately, no fault of best buy.

This microwave was great for the price. Until it wasn't. Stopped working within 6 months of purchase. Still under warranty, but GE doesn't do microwave repairs so they offered to reimburse us after we did the following: remove the serial number tag from the inside of the microwave, take a photo of it together with the receipt, email that to them and wait for a "certificate" that we then send them back to them together with a receipt for a newly purchased GE unit. So, while we're in the process of all that, we're without a microwave. Buy a cheap microwave to use in the meantime, return it to Best Buy after purchasing another GE microwave (but not from Best Buy because the price increased by $35), get it home, open the box. Microwave has a big dent in it. Now need to return that one, and so on ...

This was too tall for my space. I returned it without using it. I'm sure it works fine.

Functionality and cooking is excellent with the microwave. Fits perfect in the kitchen. Plenty of preset buttons.
