The difference in the door noise is due to a firmer spring in the door latch; this is a normal condition for the microwave. You can lift up on the latch to feel the tension. I hope this helps! The motor had to be switched around the template was not the same as the one that was on the wall which was the same microwave only nine years old but all in all it's good

Unit looks really nice but scratches super easy. Just wiping the front after install with a fresh microfiber cloth left a ton of micro scratches. Handle feels a little cheap, recommend opening near the bottom of the handle and not grabbing the top for longevity. Cooks very well. Cons aside, for the price, it's a good purchase.

(It replaces our old GE microwave.) Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as solidly built as our old one which lasted for 13 years.
